His office refused to see me without providing a reason.

The office is a fine tuned machine from start to finish. X-rays were taken prior to my visit with the doctor. Everything was very organized in the transition. The office staff were all very polite and very professional. I appreciate that everyone wore masks and followed Covid protocol. When I met Dr. Cohen he introduced himself and then he explained my hand problem thoroughly as well as the care plan moving forward. He explained step-by-step how the procedure would be executed and made it as painless as possible. I would definitely recommend Dr. Cohen and I would definitely returned his office for other hand issues.

I thought I made an appointment with Dr. Mark Cohen. When I first checked in - before anyone saw me they wanted to take x-rays. I should have left at that point. Then they decided to see me first - not by a doctor but a nurse practitioner I think. Her opinion was I probably need surgery and x-rays were necessary. I stupidly agreed to the x-rays and then waited for the Doctor. His 45 second exam was it's nothing, just keep it wrapped until it goes away. 2 months later I went for a second opinion. The second Doctor explained what was up, said x-rays were not necessary and a waste of time, money, and needlessly exposed me to radiation.

One of the Best, if not thee best orthopedic surgeons in the city of Chicago .. Dr. Cohen is extremely professional and also very caring, accessible and his entire staff will make you feel at ease.. I am very fortunate to have had Dr. Cohen and his staff conduct my Right Elbow ligament reconstruction surgery and I am now on my way to making a full recovery ..
