I’m sure many people can attest to Max’s inappropriate practices with child sex abuse.

Dr. Maizels performed a hypospadias correction on me as a teen. A terrible infection occured and much tissue was lost.. It was painful and emotionally destructive. I consider Dr. Maizels a criminal.

Dr. Maizels almost killed my perfectly healthy son. My son got a horrible infection after a routine surgery four years ago. I still, to this day, wake up in the middle of the night and can't sleep thinking about the surgery and how I almost lost my son. I actually went to a doctor today and she told me I have PTSD because of the experience. Not a day goes by that I don't think about almost losing my son. Dr. Maizels has no idea how much my life has been effected by that day.

Dr. M left us very confused and in need of more information. I asked him very specific questions and received answers such as "I cant answer that" and "Im not certain." I would ask how often my son's issures happened and what his life would be like if we didnt fix it and we received above feedback. We left with more questions than we came with. Will be seeing someone new, unfortunately.

Dr. Maizels did not answer our questions very clearly. And when procedures were were questioned as a good idea for a child that age, he stated that of course they were fine since the hospital did them. He did not really listen to us or address our concerns.
