Dr. Arshad did not take the time to listen to any of our concerns. As a mother of a child that was diagnosed with a blood disease at only one month old, we have seen a multitude of doctors over the years. She told us that our pediatrician was not correct in her diagnosis (mono) due to the fact that my daughter did not present with a fever, even though multiple blood tests had already confirmed it. (My daughter does not present with normal symptoms with most illnesses.) She also told us that she does not believe in the disease. Loyola, Mayo, and all other hospitals that I have found treat patients with Chronic Epstein Barr Disease. I feel that she was biased against us from the moment that she entered the room. She was extremely abrupt and made my daughter not only uncomfortable, but made her feel like she was being accused of faking her illness. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. Please take your child somewhere she is not on staff.
