I took my sick daughter to Metro with a high fever and severe sore throat. Despite meeting our UnitedHealthcare out-of-pocket max, staff refused to administer a strep test unless I paid $40 upfront. UHC confirmed Metro should not have charged me anything. Other providers easily verify our coverage, but Metro put me on the spot while my child was sick. Now I have to waste time filing manual claims for a reimbursement.

I visited Metro Emergency Clinic today, and I was very pleasantly surprised by the outstanding care I received\. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional\. They made me feel welcome and well cared for from the moment I arrived\. A special thank you to Dr. Jose Ayala. He took the time to explain everything clearly and in a way that was easy to understand. His thorough explanations helped me better understand my health concerns and gave me confidence in the treatment plan and next steps. I am very pleased with the care I received and the way I was treated by everyone at the clinic. I highly recommend Metro Emergency Clinic to anyone looking for compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional medical care.
