I had a terrible experience as a new patient. I booked an appointment for KeryFlex nail restoration and was turned away and told to return the same day at a later hour because they didn't have the product necessary for my treatment. Upon returning to the office as directed, they canceled on me altogether blaming their lack of preparation on holiday delays. I understand holiday delays, but booking a patient for treatment you don't have product for screams a lack of awareness and organization. Why was it agreed I could be seen when you should have known you didn't have the product in the first place? This is hugely inconsiderate of my needs and time as a patient. The doctors and staff should be ashamed of themselves. In addition to these egregious and inexcusable oversights, the practice was filthy. There were red stains on their white sofas and they were littered with crumbs and gum wrappers. 0/10 Would not recommend. Disappointed at best. I deserve compensation for my time and money being wasted commuting twice to this practice only for them to be unprepared. If the shoe was on the other foot, I'd be charged for disrespecting their time. I'm disgusted.

I had a great experience with Dr. Usman. He listened to all of my concerns thoroughly and approached my care with both support and empathy. He never rushed the visit, and together we created a clear plan to help relieve my pain with well-defined next steps. He also shared his email in case I had any questions, which I truly appreciated. It’s rare to have such direct access to a doctor who remains available even after hours. This level of care is exceptional and not something many physicians offer nowadays.

Dr Usman while a good doctor, has rescheduled me multiple times. And when I finally go in to see him and my 10am appointment he doesn’t see me until almost 11:30 and I’m treated like I’m in the wrong to be upset

I've had several ingrown toenail procedures in the past, and the worst part was always the really painful needle for the anesthetic. My experience with Dr. Usman at his Chicago Podiatry office was completely different. He used specialized techniques specifically to ensure the injection was as painless as possible, and it truly was—barely felt a thing for the first time ever. The entire procedure for my ingrown toenail was quick and comfortable. Dr. Usman is not only highly skilled but also incredibly gentle and caring. He clearly prioritizes patient comfort. The office was probably the nicest office I have seen. If you've been putting off treatment because you're afraid of the pain, you can trust Dr. Usman. He has completely changed my perspective on podiatry care and I’m glad I went here.

I had given up on ever having normal looking toenails. I tried it all : over the counter solutions, prescription medications all of which made no difference. I was skeptical about laser fungal therapy but that soon went away after making an appointment with Dr Usman. The laser treatment itself felt like a warm tingling sensation and was over in minutes. There was no downtime. I walked out and then went right back to my day. Now months later, the results speak for themselves! The ugly, thickened nails are being replaced by healthy, clear ones. The office environment is clean and modern, which is exactly what you want for a treatment like this. Highly recommend!

Shockwave therapy for my foot pain at Michigan Avenue Podiatry Clinic with Dr Usman saved my Chicago Marathon training. As a runner, I needed a solution that worked fast and was effective. This non-invasive treatment eliminated my plantar fasciitis pain completely. In Addison to the shockwave therapy I was provided with orthotics that were custom to my feet which I didn’t realize my insurance covered 100%. Any runner that is serious about their running definitely needs to see this podiatrist in Chicago. Getting to the office was easy, I parked at the underground parking garage and made my way up! When I got to the office I felt like a VIP patient already because of how good it looked. Overall, I would Highly recommend for all athletes!
