I was referred to Modern Dental from my insurance website.  Went in for a general cleaning and it was definitely my best dental experience.  I usually hate going to the dentist, but my experience so far has been great.  Easy to make an appointment on the phone.  Easy working with insurance.  Friendly and clean office.  Professional employees.  Plus a thorough cleaning that was painless.  Can't ask for anything else from a dentist.  Will most certainly be back and will refer friends.

So normally I don't have anything good to say about going to the dentist, it is uncomfortable, painful, and I have never liked my dentist. That has all changed after going to Modern Dental. First, it is probably the cleanest dental office I have ever been in. That is a huge plus especially for somewhere that you are getting your teeth cleaned. The whole cleaning process was comfortable and pain free. They have flat screen tvs that they put right in front of you to watch while you are getting your teeth cleaned so you almost forget what is happening. Also, the hygenists are amazing. My hygenist Colleen took great care of me and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. When the doctor came in I felt just as taken care of. Before Dr. Kym even started to look at my teeth she first sat down and talked to me about any problems I was having and about anything I mentioned on my chart. She made sure I understood everything that she saw and what my treatment plan was going to be. I have always put off going to the dentist because I have never had a good experience. I no longer have to do that. I also want to say how great their front desk staff was. They explained all the charges, asked how my appointment went and even though it was only my first time they already made me feel like I was at home. I will definitely be going back here and recommending it to anyone who is looking for a dentist.

My wife and I have no dental insurance and we have two little girls.  So it's all out-of-pocket. Searching for a local dentist, a friend with two girls recommended Modern Dental on Division.We had our first visit this week, and we are happy.  My xrays were shown on a screen in real time, pretty cool.  The dental hygenist seemed efficient and knowledgeable.  One of daughters was not too thrilled because she misses her old dentist, but afterwards she said it was going to to be fine.I like that it's by my daughter's school, (LaSalle II on Division), they were on time with my 8 AM appointment, the service was impressive, my girls are happy.What more to say.Based on 4 dental visits, we recommend Modern Dental.

I was referred to Modern Dental by my insurance companies website. The reason I chose this location over others was primarily because of the service I had received when I initially made the appointment. The gal that I spoke with was pleasant and very attentive. Upon my visit today I had even more good experiences. I entered the office, the primary receptionist was busy so one of the gals working on the schedule saw me, checked me in and gave me my paperwork for my appointment. I arrived early, finished my paperwork and was taken back in a timely manner. My hygienist was amazing, very personable. Her warmth and sincerity really made my visit even better. Maua RDH After checking over my teeth the dentist was called over. Again, couldn't have asked for a better experience. He knew exactly what needed to be done, communicated everything in a way that I could easily understand. I will be going in soon for more dental care from Dr Gelman. It's a great neighborhood, wonderful location, beautiful facility, and they have some of the nicest folks I have met in Chicago. What a pleasant wonderful time... something I would not have expected from a dentist's office lol :) Jess W

This is my go-to dental shop. The staff is very friendly and the ladies in the front are top notch. Last time I was in here I was talking to these folks like old friends. Got to love a dentist office that does not feel like a sterile clinic but has friendly people working there (its clean and sterile for those of you with OCD). I like the email reminders and confirmation so I don't forget to put my appointment on the calendar. I have health insurance which covers dental work so they are always letting me know what my options are and what my insurance will pay for. I have never had them try to add other charges, etc., and when we discuss options that might not be covered they never try to push these on me. Great folks.

I love this dentist office! Great work and great people. I recently moved to Chicago and was looking for a dentist. Modern Dental made me feel at ease and everyone was super polite and helpful. It's definitely my new dentist!

I must first mention...I hate going to see the dentist. This office and the staff, totally changed my perspective about going to a dental office. Everyone that works there are so friendly and the equipment they use are very high tech that my teeth cleaning session was quick and painless. I had such a wonderful first impression about this place that I am actually going to schedule another appointment to get more dental work done in couple of weeks. I can't believe it! :-)

I've been coming to Modern Dental on Division for my regular cleanings and check ups for almost two years now and have nothing but praise for them so far. They're always friendly and professional (even first thing in the morning when I usually schedule my appointments!) The work they've done for me has always seemed top notch and discomfort free.

Awesome service! The reception staff is just as great as the dental staff. -Not to mention the perfect location on Division.I have always hated the dentist office growing up, but now I actually look forward to getting my grill cleaned!
