Nooshin Cohanim's Online Review Report Card

If you are seeking Patient centered health care (Medical Home), Nooshin Cohanim, MD does not deliver. A pregnant patient with a persistent cough (COVID negative) was refused to be seen as "the office is not seeing sick patients" and received a telehealth visit with one of the nurses instead, who diagnosed her with a "cough" . At a minimum the patient expected to be seen virtually by her primary care physician and receive a follow up call from her physician rather than a bill for her cough diagnosis. She received better care form the ER doc at the urgent care center.I happen to be a nurse who works with primary care centers seeking accreditation to improve quality and safety as a Medical Home. Village Medical needs to do better.

I actually saw her ~10 years ago and when a friend asked for a Chicago doctor req, I knew right where to send her. Dr. Cohanim is excellent.

I have been with Dr. Cohanmin for over a decade. She is the best doctor I have ever had. She is so kind, warm, and patient. She truly cares about her patients and takes time to reach out and follow-up on things. I have recommended her to multiple people and can't say enough good things!

Best primary care doctor I’ve ever had. She is so kind and Thorough. I always feel like I am getting the best care from her and the whole office.

Dr. Cohanim is incredibly responsive - I followed up on an issue I was experiencing three months after my last visit in the portal, and she responded in less than 30 minutes to help me get to a resolution. She's very thorough, and I always feel like I'm getting the right treatment.

Best care I've ever received from a Dr.Dr. Nooshin Cohanim truly cares about her patients and it shows. She keeps detailed notes, is thorough, is analytical, follows thru, and is kind. She offers suggestions for treating the source of health problems instead of just writing prescriptions.I had to leave Chicago and am now in NYC where I can not find a Dr with half the care and intelligence of Dr Cohanim. Dr Cohanim even checked up on me a few months after I moved to make sure I was taking care of myself properly and seeing someone for my condition. If I could fly to Chicago for my Drs appts I would just so I could know I was being heard and cared for.

Dr. Cohanim has been my primary care physician for the past decade. She has never steered me wrong. I like her because she listens very well (and doesn't make assumptions), she is always up to date on the  current research, and she also knows a lot about natural remedies and the impact that nutrition plays on your health. She has never dismissed any of my health concerns, and will talk through them practically without being at all dismissive. I always feel that she treats me like a whole human being, rather than simply treating an illness or maintaining my wellness. I do not know what I would do if one of us moved out of state. I've never had a doctor that's as well rounded as her. If I ever lost my health insurance, I would pay cash to see her because she is that good. My husband now goes to this practice as well. I could not be more satisfied and I could not provide a higher recommendation for her as a primary care physician.

Dr. Cohanim has restored my faith in bedside manor within the healthcare field as she actually takes interest in your well being, along with being extremely organized and well prepared before each consult, she is also very keen to details.In addition to an awesome doctor is the great support staff at PCMA, the office staff is very friendly and quick to respond via email/phone, and they have an on-site lab so lab tests are evaluated quickly (usually within one business day). All in all, I can't recommend a better physician than Dr. Cohanim.
