TLDR: Did the wrong service yet insisting on charging fees associate with it. Avoid this place if you want to preserve your physical and mental health.Horrible experience at the Imaging Center at the Lavin Building and horrific experience with NM overall. They placed me in the wrong MRI machine, despite me triple checking with multiple staff members that I needed a 3T MRI, which is the only reason I went to NM instead of Rush. The staff was clearly overworked due to this hospital's poor management and machines were breaking down, so they had to take me to another room and to my dismay they didn't take me to a 3T one. After the MRI was done, I had a feeling they took me to the wrong machine so I asked the radiologist if this was a 3T machine and he said yes, but he lied! Thankfully the nurse overheard and clarified that it wasn't 3T but then the nurse proceed to gaslight me saying "it wasn't on my chart that you needed 3T". So basically, he admitted they don't do proper documentation in patent's charts. Because if something is not documented, after I've requested it multiple times, that's on you. The patient should not be the one over and over again asking for what they need. I had to advocate for myself so they wouldn't charge me for a second MRI yet they still want to charge me the reading for both, even after escalating the issue. I do not recommend NM and will not be referring my patients nor friends and family members to this hospital system. This was my first and last experience here.

DINE-IN available. 👏 Plenty of chairs, outlets and very fast free wifi. I look forward to taste testing different vendors. Restrooms available too. Unfortunately, it closes between 3-5 pm.As for INFO DESK...don't bother. 2 Lazy Ladies did NOT have a map, nor tried to be helpful. They work here who doesn't know the location of 2-716. 🤯 I have been here long long time ago, and INFO desk was different, & very helpful. I doubt they will be able to provide much security to patients either (just take the elevator & pretend you know where you are going).
