Al Peeuzzo here. Despite your heading I was never told this was a squamous carcinoma, just (if I can use that word) an ameloblastoma tumor. The nearly 7 hr operation was a success, and I am now ameloblastoma-free. And I retain muscular control. The lengthy catheterization may have triggered a severe flare up of my Bhp, though, ultimately causing temporary kidney failure and multiple trips to the ER within a week of release from the hospital.Not enough attention was paid to the fact that the ultrasound at Immc was repeatedly faulty (resulting in “unable to get a reading”), which might have caught the problem early.And the nurse at Immc administering contrast dye for my CT scan this month injected into muscle instead of the vein she was supposed to use, causing agonizing pain (like my arm was being crushed),and requiring the injection and scan to be redone. Dr Qasi was nonetheless a bright spot in a gruesome experience.

Last October I was diagnosed with an ameloblastoma in my lower jaw. I thought it was just an infected tooth until I Dr. Qaisi and his team. After the diagnosis we immediately began talking about treatment. We decided that it would be best to completely remove the part of the jaw that had been impacted by the tumor and reconstruct it with bone from my leg. Fibula flap surgery is what it’s called I believe. Surgery was a success and Dr. Qaisi and his team were incredible. I generally have a lot of anxiety and Dr. Qaisi and his team were always willing to answer my questions and see me in the office whenever. Today I’m 5 weeks post op and I can honestly say that Dr. Qaisi and his team saved me and I’m forever grateful for them.

I had Stage one squamous cell carcinoma, Dr Qasi and his team was absolutely amazing. They made me feel comfortable right away, help my hand through every step of the process and I am here to report, I am officially cancer free after two years. I am so grateful for his expertise and for saving my life.

Dr. Qaisi and all his staff members are top of the grade. Dr. Qaisi did an excellent job of my oral surgery and he is very polite and carefully listens spending lot of time, which is very rare.

In August 2024 I had a tooth extracted. After working with a Dentist and oral surgeon with no success, we found Dr. Qaisi and his team in November 2024. After 1 meeting we understood what the problem was ( right lower jaw was compromised by the radiation treatment I received 11 years ago when I had neck cancer) and had a plan to correct. I had surgery to replace the bad jaw bone with a "Flap" from my right pec the end of January. Although I am still in recovery, I am no longer in pain and feel better now than I did before the surgery. The care I received was amazing. Docters Qaisi, Kang, and their team, are talented and caring. This surgery was over 7 hours and very complicate. They did a great job.The office is easy to work with to schedule and efficient especially Will. They have multiple location and try to schedule at the most convient location. I highly recommend this group for any dental needs.
