Physicians Immediate Care's Online Review Report Card

My husband booked an appointment and got down to the clinic while he was experiencing tremendous pain and discomfort only to find that they only offered telehealth options....which were down! He managed to find help Midwest express clinic but this place was a joke!

When you’re experiencing cyclosporiasis symptoms, the last thing you want to do is drag yourself away from your bathroom and go to an urgent care. So I called in advance to make sure they were accepting walk-in’s. Instead of just telling me they were busy, the staff represented that the clinic was accepting walk-in’s and was open until 8. When I showed up 10 min later feeling extremely nauseous, the story had changed, and I was turned away. So now I’m sitting on the street corner feeling very sick and wishing I’d stayed in bed. Don’t recommend!

Made an appointment online for a time right before closing. Check in was easy. Was seen by staff right at appointment time. Everyone was kind, pleasant, and professional. My problem wasn’t complicated, but I was glad to have the care given and also the information printed out and provided at the end of the appointment.

DO NOT GO HERE! This is a for profit businesses NOT a medical care provider. I was charged for an appointment I NEVER MADE! I feel bad for the people that went to school, to work at a place like this. AVOID at all cost!

Had an appointment for a toddler with a presumed ear infection, about as quick and easy as could be. Took over 30 minutes in the room waiting with a toddler for 90 seconds with a PA to confirm the ear infection. Prescribed oral over ear drop antibiotics, which I question. Overall, would not rec at all. They were friendly but that’s it. Personally, when I go to urgent care, I drive a bit further to use Innovative Express Care. Haven’t taken my kid there but they’ve been great for my medical needs.

I was double charged for an appointment here, and it's been over a year of hour+ long phone calls with them and my insurance company to get it figured out, to the point they've sent me to collections. None of the bills have been for the same amount, it's unbelievably fishy. Not to mention the care I received was subpar at best. $500+ for a urinalysis? I have had no choice but to report them for fraud.

I would not recommend anyone bring their child to Physicians Immediate Care - Wicker Park. I had a very disappointing experience at the Wicker Park Physicians Immediate Care when I brought my infant son in to be evaluated. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was unhelpful and did not make us feel welcome. As a parent bringing in a sick infant, the lack of compassion and assistance only added to my stress. On our way out of the building after our visit, they actually turned off the lights before we had exited the building. The nursing staff also struggled to take my son's temperature and vital signs. I understand that obtaining vitals on an infant can be challenging, but they appeared unprepared, untrained and were ultimately unable to complete them appropriately, which did not inspire confidence in the quality of care. Most concerning, the physician assistant misdiagnosed my son's condition. We later learned that the diagnosis was incorrect, which delayed him from receiving the appropriate treatment. When it comes to caring for infants, accurate assessments are incredibly important, and this experience left me feeling that my concerns were not adequately addressed. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I hope this location improves its training, communication, and quality of pediatric care so that other families do not have a similar experience. To add insult to injury, our bill was around $350 after insurance. A complete scam.

Got in quickly. Doctors and nurses were awesome. Was home with a diagnosis in just under an hour.
