List of Premier Pain And Spine's Reviews
Dr. Kapoor was supposed to administer 1 epidural injection on the right side of the L4-L5 vertebrae in my lumbar spine. However, he performed the injection on the left side of my back, not the correct side. The right side of my back was in bad pain. I didn't know what was going on and thought I was feeling pin pricks in my back because the of injury on the right side. I told him that I felt these sensations on my left side. He got angry at me, and asked me why I didn't say something, as though it was my fault/error. Then he proceeded to give me an epidural on the correct side. At the end of the second injection, I felt a pain so blindingly painful I truly thought I was going to die. This was intolerable, electric pain. I asked him if he had hit my spinal cord during the injection, and he said no. I have friends who are doctors ad surgeons. They told me that the kind of pain I had experienced could only be from the spinal cord being touched. I just called his practice to try to find out what clinic he was at prior to opening this one. The doctors there were good overall. The receptionist told me that Dr. Kapoor would not see me as I was "discharged" from his care due to the way I acted on the day he made the two grievous errors. I would stay very far away from this practice. Dr. Kapoor seems to have quite a high opinion of himself and does not like being held accountable for his messy work and unprofessional conduct. I should have sued him for malpractice. Patients beware.
I've been going here for years. they are great working with me to help keep my pain manageable and in the comfy zone. Great friendly staff and doctors. Dr Patel is fantastic!
I had the worst possible experience trying to become a new patient of this center. I tried calling Premier and Spine Chicago to set up an appointment as a new patient, and while holding, I was hung up on twice. The phone gets picked up and immediately put down. On my third attempt, I spoke with a receptionist named "Angelica", and at first she started to answer my questions, and then she placed me on a "hold", which was hanging up on me again. I proceeded to call two more times, upon which after holding for about 10 minutes as "Patient #1 in line", the phone picked up and immediately dropped. Seriously, what a horrible company?
My review is about the remarkable Dr. Firas Rafati, whom my husband sees for his severe pain at the PPS Chicago office. For many months, my husband has had the privilege of being Dr. Rafati’s patient, who treats him as though he was a member of his own family. Elderly, frail, and often in great pain, Dr. Rafati has found several ways to ease the pain in his lower spine, his hip, and his shoulder. Cautious, careful, and resourceful, as well as always personable, compassionate, and concerned, we recommend Dr. Rafati with absolute confidence and assure you of his indisputably expert skills.
I've been a patient for almost 2 years now and while I am still in alot of pain, I have experienced some temporary periods of mild pain relief along the way. PPS has helped with trigger point injections, epidural, SI joint injections, and RFA in my lower back. With added physical therapy, a pain blocker, and muscle relaxers alongside NSAIDs and Tylenol I am trying to manage the pain as best as I can. I feel as though I'm running out of options though and will need to investigate what else is out there that can help.
The staff were all very nice and professional. I arrived much too early and they were kind enough to work me in between patients so I would not have to wait so long. I enjoyed my visit and will tell others about the service.
After 2 years of trying to get relief from low back pain with pills, lotions physical therapy and acupuncture I went to Premier Pain and Spine. After the doctor looked at my MRI he saw the problem and set about fixing it. Personally The PRP injections have done the trick for me. It is amazing how they give you more mobility but even more amazing how they change your mood and out look on life. So grateful!
Premier pain and spine, is always very courteous. I have yet had any complaints, the nurses and the doctors have always been professional.
Peaceful environment, patient and warm staff.
I cannot say enough about PPS. The staff, physicians assistants and the doctors are all friendly and professional. My pain has lessened since going to PPS. They are always proactive in thinking of other solutions to alleviate some of my discomfort. I would highly recommend PPS.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
