List of Robert J. Sobel's Reviews
Ignorant, rude attitude doctor. Worst place.
Tried calling this practice to get more information on Dr Sobel's specialties a (specifically Hashimotos) the practice manager came on the phone and said "This is a membership clinic that costs $2200 a year to be a part of. How old are you?" First of all, I never asked how much it costs, as cost isn't an issue if he's a good doctor. I asked if he specializes in hashimotos and he said "He does thyroid all day long but it's a membership clinic and it's $2200 a month" and was very abrupt and rude. I definitely don't care how much it costs. I could've absolutely afforded it but because of the practice manager and his inability to respect potential patients and answer basic questions, I would recommend you seek care elsewhere.
Dr. Sobel practices a different type of medicine than is typically seen in large hospital and clinic networks, and increasingly, even in private practices. By this I mean that Dr. Sobel takes whatever time is necessary to listen, to personally communicate test results and discuss treatment options, and to coordinate specialist care and referrals if they are necessary. For example, I recently had a revision sinus surgery; Dr. Sobel spent a great deal of time digesting the nearly 80 pages of my relevant ENT history, and the clinic notes and CT images produced by two different ENT surgeons that I consulted with in order to help me make the best choices given the available information. Dr. Sobel was instrumental in helping me choose a surgeon and medically prepare for surgery. He was also available to my wife, after my surgery, whenever she had questions or concerns about how I was healing. Bottom line: if you want a primary care doctor that will work hard to give you his best and to make sure that you receive personalized care and evidence-based treatment, Dr. Sobel is that doctor.
Great doctor. 17 years already.
Best doctor ever! Always takes the time to listen, very detailed. Great bedside manner!
Excellent endocrinologist with a great bedside manner. Very thorough, personally called with test results (doctors should all still be doing this but don't get me started on factory-type medical care), and wants to help people feel better.
Extremely knowledgeable, empathetic, thorough doctor.
Dr.Sobel is kind, attentive, and very knowledgeable. He is very detailed orientated and was able to quickly and accurately identify the cause of my issue which unfortunately required surgery and monitoring. Through my medical ordeal he was always on top of everything medically, made personal phone calls after business hours, etc. I've never had such a responsive doctor. HIs staff have also been great. I've never had to wait long in waiting room or to get an appointment. Above all, Dr. Sobel makes sure my needs are fully met. With his thoroughness, he has caught subtle things that I think other physicians could have easily missed. Anyone would be very fortunate to be under his outstanding care!
Best physician I have ever had, he has been my primary physician for more than 10 years now. Doc Sobel will not only sit and listen to all that is ailing you but he will spend as much time as needed to address all your questions and concerns. He has an excellent bed side manner and I love all his staff who are always professional. I would highly recommend Doctor Robert Sobel.
One of the best doctor (Dr Robert Sobel). Cons: you need extra time for wait.I would recommend!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
