The number 1.# Best Cancer Center in Chicago, Illinois you are treated Special with dignity, courtesy, trust, kindness, listen to patients concerns helping its patients with advice and excellent Services get staff at Rush Cancer Center. The oncologist are very good and explaining your diagnosis to patient. I true recommend this Cancer Center to all my families, friends, individual, and out of state residents. This is the reason I give Rush Cancer Center a 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Rating.
Dr Ross and her entire team, saved my wife's life. Dr Ross was a bright light at the end of the tunnel. The cutting edge treatment my wife received at the RUSH MD Anderson Cancer Center was the most professional, accommodating, and friendly, care providers I've been around. From the first contact with the Rush operator to present day, I have nothing but praise. Everyone from the cleaning crews, receptionists, Lab staff, specialist Nurses and Doctors and even Rush Employees walking down the hall, all had a smile, kind word and pleasant demeanor. I have yet to even hear a raised voice. A very safe environment. After 3 months of Chemo and 30 Radiation Treatments, she is cancer free. Now she is receiving Immunotherapy. The other place, 5/20 - 5/23 1st diagnosis and tests. 6/10 - 1st appt with oncologist, diagnosis was 4 of 10 chance of surviving 5 years. Basically a death sentence. 6/10 - Call to Rush Cancer Center for 2nd opinion. 6/13 - 1st visit with "We treat to cure." - Dr Ross! Also 1st visit with the Radiologic Oncologist, Dr Marwaha! Testing done this visit. Plan of treatment outlined. 6/30 - 1st of 30 Radiation Treatments. 7/1 - Chemotherapy started. 7-11 - Last Radiation Treatment, rings the "I Beat Cancer Bell" (Radiation) 9/4 - Last Chemo Treatment 10/7 - Dr Ross says Cancer is gone. 10/7 - Start Immunotherapy (once month for one year). Thanks to everyone at Rush MD Anderson Cancer Center!
I am a patient who recently lost her husband to cancer. I have an abnormal lab value that my primary doctor asked me to follow up on. Today, I was refused care because I had my 1.5-year-old son with me. Nowhere in any of the multiple reminders does it state that children are not allowed. Despite the sensitivity of my situation, the doctor and team would not even review or discuss the lab results that were already completed before the appointment. Placing policy over people is unacceptable when it comes to patient lives.
The building is beautiful and the staff doctors are great but the wait is long. You would think they'd be more conscious of their patients time considering their situation. If you're late, you have to reschedule but if their late, you have to wait. Doesn't seem right
So difficult to get a doctor appt correctly.
Everyone is so friendly and helpful on directions
I am so grateful for this hospital and for the excellent doctors, nurses, and staff who work here. I love coming into the building and being greeted by Eunice. She is so warm and supportive. My nurses were amazing. My doctors were second to none (Dr. Madrigano, Dr. Kokosis, and Dr. Kurlander). This is an excellent facility. They provide excellent medical care. I highly recommend Rush MD Anderson. Thank you for everything.
The Secret cure to cancer is real, but I don’t have it.
DO NOT GO HERE! My surgeon did not explain that better technology existed elsewhere for breast reconstruction post cancer. I was lied to about cancer being in my nipple and it was removed only to find later that there was absolutely no cancer in my nipple or skin. If you agree to let them take your nipple you will lose feeling and your quality of life will be greatly impacted. DO NOT TRUST THEIR BREAST CANCER SURGEONS! This hospital is just slapping the Texas MD Anderson name on their hospital to try and new patients without actually caring about patients. this hospital has poor internal systems , policy, and management Care: 2 Stars-I was diagnosed with cancer in 2022. I went here for my diagnosis because my primary care was through Rush. Rish does not use the latest technology and staff is instructed to keep testing very lean. They don’t order ctDNS tests and despite the MD anderson name still their clinical trials list is quite small. Care is standard but not groundbreaking. Breast surgeons, absolutely awful. Get a second opinion prior to agreeing to surgery with them. Very poor understanding and ability to interpret images Record all of your appointments as well if you decide to get care here. Systems and Patient experience: 0 Stars Parking, yes they validate BUT only for the day of surgery… they don’t validate parking for the next day. As a double mastectomy cancer patient I was required to be check out by someone and parking validation was denied. When inquiring to 4th floor customer service i was told to walk back upstairs if i wanted to discuss validation, The morning after having my breast removed due to cancer. I work in the pharma industry so i know the name of drugs. During reconstructive surgery because you don’t have any breast tissue it puts a lot of pain and pressure on your check muscles which causes back spasms. I was denied muscle relaxer prescriptions and the pharmacist on staff after surgery accused me of wanting to abuse the drugs with oxy. I told them fine don’t give me oxy and on my last surgery i was prescribed both, but i would prefer the muscle relaxer. I was denied and was in pain with a cramped up back as a CANCER PATIENT. and still got an oxy prescription! They say you can schedule and cancel appointments online but it only allows this for standard primary care visits. No specialists. The phones take FOREVER. I have got to northwester, city of hope, and UofC and RUSH BY FAR has the worst billing process and system. I have great health insurance through blue cross blue shield. No other hospital has ever had an issue with systematic payment but Rush can seem to figure out how to bill patients properly. With so many other hospitals in chicago there is just no reason to put up with Rush’s poor management.
I've have nothing but great things to say about my experience at Rush Cancer Center. The entire staff over there has shown my nothing but professionalism and empathy since I was diagnosed. My pain needs were met and I've always received a call back when I had questions or concerns. Thank you and keep up the great work!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
