Had my surgery this year May 2022. Dr. Neckrysh is awesome. So far I'm pain free. Yes man of few words, but he's very confident about his work. That smile shows nothing but confidence. Thanks Dr. Neckrysh.
Dr. Neckrysh performed my spinal fusion 3 years ago. Today I am pain free. I was so blessed to have him be my surgeon. He's a man of few words but very friendly and positive energy. One of the sweetest faces and my daughter was with me at the consultation, he must like kids cuz he was very nice to her. I was in such bad shape, that I knew he was right in stating I'd end up in a wheelchair if I didn't get my spinal fusion and PT didn't solve the problem. Dr. Neckrysh did. It was my lumbar S1 and S2. Very skilled surgeon. This is a very painful serious surgery and he educated me a lot before going in. I had 20 staples. If you smoke, don't do this, because your bones won't be strong enough to hold the screws rods and will come apart. I've never smoked so I was a good candidate. First couple weeks are excruciating. Pain was unbearable even with the strongest pain meds, but after a month I felt so much better. But your back will never be the same so keep that in mind, you may not be able to do what you used to do. But great guy great surgeon.
Surgery went fairly well but tough communicating with staff (including surgeon) especially in regards to getting simple work notes, pt orders. I have had a few incidents where I was pretty much lied to as well: med refills, work notes, phone appt call backs, waiting room for hours of time, seen only for a couple minutes, no true post op exam or questionnaire on current status.
Dr Neckrysh is the reason I am not a quadriplegic, I would recommend for anyone in need of spinal surgery. He did my surgery in 2010, I had a 95% chance of being paralyzed after fracturing C5-6. I have absolutely no deficits today, can walk and maintain an active lifestyle thanks to Dr Neckrysh.
Terrible... just terrible doctor.
Terrible doctor! Please stay away.

Horrendous!
Dr. Neckrysh has an EGO the size of Russia where he is from. He was the chief surgeon for my revised surgery, but NEVER came to see me AT ALL afterwards. My son was livid trying to talk to him after surgery and he was not available. He screwed up the L5/S1 fusion during surgery and admitted that the nerve was "nicked" or something, and my right foot was immediately numb after surgery and still is, ...
Dr. Neckrysh has an EGO the size of Russia where he is from. He was the chief surgeon for my revised surgery, but NEVER came to see me AT ALL afterwards. My son was livid trying to talk to him after surgery and he was not available. He screwed up the L5/S1 fusion during surgery and admitted that the nerve was "nicked" or something, and my right foot was immediately numb after surgery and still is, 20 months post op. The screw at L5/S1 is now loose per CT scan xrays and when I called to get help, his staff said he was on "vacation" and I would see his arrogant NP, Allison Blood. This woman doesn't belong in the field of medicine. Book smart, but no people skills whatsoever. I didn't want to see her, but that's who they gave me, under the assumption that I would see the almighty Dr. Neckrysh. She is horrible! Then, again, after post op, I see some new guy doing his fellowship and he makes lame excuses why Dr. Neckrysh couldn't be there for a "family emergency"...really? Bite me. You suck Dr. Neckrysh and should be ashamed of yourself.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
