List of Sonya Kenkare Md's Reviews
Had my first appointment with Dr. Kenkare after scheduling a few months beforehand. Got there right on time, staff was nice as always, but this review is about Dr. Kenkare. She coughed a few times --which was a bit jarring given we're still in a pandemic regardless if people want to take it seriously or not, and after a quick body exam, I had to ask her if it was okay to ask her questions. She seemed rushed and impatient to hearing my questions/concerns. Granted, she did answer them, but she lacks the bedside/caring manner people look for in a doctor. Felt like I was talking to my older sister's cool friend...iykyk. Probably will look for another doctor...
Dr. Kenkare is one of the most knowledgeable providers I've ever seen. I wish I had gone to her earlier!
Amazing dic
Best doc
I have been to Dr. Kenkare's office twice and both times were extremely rushed. Both appointments were 5 minutes long, and I felt like I was just the next stop in the hall. I did not feel either time that she was thorough or caring of my concerns. I also found her general manner to be off-putting and even unprofessional in some of her comments. Plus, it's extremely hard to get an appointment that isn't at least two months out. Will not be seeing her again.
Good
she did not do a complete body exam, nor did her assistant. her report says a body exam was done. She did not prescribed a treatment plan that did not address why I came to her.
For sure, the most unpleasant doctor visit I have ever had. She took a look at my skin for maybe 15 seconds and said that if I wanted more details about how to take care of it, I would have to pay extra. PS: I wasn’t asking her how to treat wrinkles. I needed help with melasma. Shame.
She looked at my scalp for maybe 10 seconds and said it was probably hormonal based hair loss and prescribed me medication. I went back after the medication was not working for me and she gave me topical treatments that in the long run made my hair loss even worse and dried out my scalp so bad. Also seemed annoyed that I asked about spot on my shoulder that looked a little different than other freckles I have. Seeing the other poor reviews does confirm that I had not just caught her on an off day.
My doctor and her assistant were the best

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
