Can’t recommend enough! I’ve had lower back pain (sciatica and a bulging disc) for 10 years. For years after my injury, I went to various doctors and physical therapists who did their best but could not help me. I eventually gave up and relied on pain meds to deal with the debilitating and seemingly random flare ups. I quit many forms of exercise and activities. After a series of particularly bad flare ups last year, I called Spine and Sports Center of Chicago to get a one-time educational session to ask detailed questions about how best to brace myself in various scenarios to prevent my pain from getting even worse. Dr. George took the time to dive deeply into the specifics of the history of my pain and understand my condition. I felt understood, and I left with answers to more important questions I didn’t even know to ask, a couple new stretches, and hope for realistic improvement. Nine months later, I’m still going to Dr. George - admittedly, I haven’t always been good about doing my homework, but I haven’t had a bad flare up since I first saw him and I leave every visit relieved. My daily pain has greatly lessened and I’ve learned great tools to manage (and eventually, and hopefully, heal) my back. His team is so friendly and great to work with. Plus, they have reasonable out-of-pocket pricing and accept many forms of insurance. From the very beginning, they have been transparent about pricing and super helpful with navigating any insurance issues. Again, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. They care about individuals, set realistic expectations and goals, and succeed in helping.

As someone who was very apprehensive about seeing a chiropractor based on previous experiences, I can safely say that Dr. George Nicolopoulos was the best person I could have gone to. I mentioned to a friend of mine that I had been having some abnormal low back pain, and without missing a beat, she recommended I check out Dr. George. I went in, we talked for a while about the pain I was experiencing, and then we moved into a blend of chiro/PT to diagnose what was going on in my back. The focus was always on making sure we were doing things that would get me back on track as soon as possible, as opposed to my fears of being stuck returning multiple times a week for weeks on end. I’m walking away with better understanding of what went wrong with my back, as well as the tools to help fix these specific issues, should they return in the future. On top of that, George is just a really easy person to talk to and made me feel extremely comfortable and listened to the whole time, validating my experience and using that information to define a treatment path. I’ll be recommending him to all of my friends, and definitely coming back if any other issues arise!

Great facility—better people! George and his team are so helpful and truly care about long term well-being through demonstrated stretching and at home exercises as well. I work in the restaurant industry which can be taxing on the whole body—thank you for keeping me going!

I saw George 5 years ago when I had a rib out of place and was amazed that he gave me the tools and knowledge to treat myself if it happened again and how to prevent it in the future. It always feels like his goal is to treat me so that I don’t have to come back. I’ve continued seeing him over the years for various things. He was an angel after I was rear ended and experiencing so many issues with my neck and back. Every friend I’ve sent to him tells me how much they love George!

I’ve been visiting Dr. George for 4 years now and he is the best! He totally cured my weekly migraines and neck pain, and helped to rehab my shoulder after dislocating it. He always takes the time to listen to your issues and find the root cause and educate you on the best path forward. He truly cares about his patients.

George, Marcus and Eli are absolutely exceptional!! I've been visiting them on and off for about 2.5 years, as they've been my go-to for sports recovery and injury prevention. I worked with George and Marcus on a foot and a shoulder injury and have continued seeing them for preventative care. And what is more convenient than a massage therapist (Eli) who is able to personalize your session based on recommendations from your chiro (George/Marcus)! They are truly a dream team and I cannot recommend them more.

I had such a great experience with Dr. George and the whole team! He worked with me to get to the root of my pain, then treated it and gave me exercises to prevent it from coming back. Their goal is rehabilitation, not keeping you dependent on their treatment forever like some other practices. I’d highly recommend their services and will continue to turn to them myself.

I have been skeptical of chiro generally. This place came highly recommended. I had a major back injury two years ago and when it flared up again, George and Marcus got me in quickly and I saw results immediately. I was in competition shape within weeks. They now have a forever client.
