I’ve come to this place several times and have consistently had a pretty good experience with Abigail Hamilton. She’s always made me feel welcome, and I even brought my daughter to see her. I really love her energy and the positive vibe of the people she works with. Then, my skin ending results was very nice, received many compliments. It’s unfortunate that not everyone has had the same experience, but I’m genuinely grateful that mine has been a good one—and continues to be.

Abigail goes above and beyond with her care and practice. She was able to get me established in with my appointment and her staff is wonderful as well. The progress we have made throughout therapy.

Extremely unprofessional staff who lacks the ability to actually keep appointments. When they said they wrote it down. I could not be more upset with them as they don't understand what psych meds are and what missing dosages could possibly mean. They are by far out of their grasp in terms of prescribing actual medication that can be beneficial to someone in extreme mental incapacitation like me who is dual diagnosis bipolar too with schizoaffective. Their receptionist rarely gets there on time and calls client's buddy. I will not ever tolerate someone calling me buddy. It is sir and will always be sir. You have to give respect to earn respect. Abigail is the only one who truly helps me. I am appalled by the medical industry as a whole. It is the reason why the United States has become so backwards in such a short amount of time. I had an excellent experience at Sunshine Psychiatric. The staff was welcoming and professional, and the psychiatrist/therapist was very understanding and supportive. They took the time to listen to my concerns and provided a clear treatment plan. The clinic was clean, well-organized, and had a calming atmosphere. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking mental health support

Great Team

Doug Nyenke PMHNP(pretty sure) is my care provider and NOT actually with Sunshine, but is in the same building with Beverly Psychiatric. I do not believe he is associated with then. He provides compassionate, informed, ethical care. I have suggested several friends to his services and even the pharmacists sing his praises when I pick up my meds. He's intelligent and really goes the extra mile. Such a difference from my last psych, who did not directly address my ADHD even with my diagnosis from a reputable clinic. Now with Doug on my care team I'm finally able to start piecing my life together after a lifetime of being ten steps behind.

I’ve been looking for a psychiatrist for years who actually takes their time and listens to me. And I’m happy to say I finally found one! My partner passed away 3 months ago and I really needed help. I’m so thankful I found this place. Highly recommend.

Awful onboarding process. After requesting that I send everything from my social security number to photos of my ID over unprotected email, I started receiving nonsensical emails about "A chart being created for me" and "attached please find your ID and healthcare card" with no actual attachments or explanation as to what "a chart" was. When I tried to schedule an appointment, I received annoyance and frustration when asking things like "Who is my therapist? What is their name? How were they matched to me? Can I have their email?" Tracked down the person they were trying to connect me with only to find out they weren't even a therapist.

Very professional, never had an issue here and everyone is always lovely and supportive. Highly recommend!
