My husband and I met Dr. Tomita shortly after we found out that our son was going to be born with severe hydrocephalus. He operated after our son was born and put in a VP shunt. Dr. Tomita has been excellent to work with.

I was a teenager when he saved me from brain cancer 3 times. I don't think I ever thanked him for it. Thank you Dr. Tomita! Thank you for your compassion, for your skills, and for allowing me to be part of the wand research. Thank you!

Dr. Tomita has performed two brain surgeries for me. He is the most kind and considerate doctor I have come across in all of my years of being in and out of the hospital with epilepsy. God has truly blessed his hands and his skill. I left the hospital in 3 days after both brain surgeries with Dr.Tomita as my surgeon. He will not unnecessarily put you on medication and will follow up closely with you instead of waiting until the exact date of a follow up appointment. Greatest surgeon alive.

So many good things to say about Dr. Tomita!! He preformed surgery on my 11yr old son to remove a benign brain tumor. It was such a scary time for us with many uncertainties, but Dr. Tomita was patient with us and answered our questions and put our fears at ease. I would highly recommend Dr. Tomita and the staff at Ann and Robert H Lurie Children's Hospital.

Dr. Tomita performed surgery on our son with open spina bifida at time of birth. Our son is 7 now and walks and runs with his two sisters. He has above normal test scores and has never had a VP shunt. Happy kid. Couldn't have dreamed of a better outcome.

My son was diagnosised with a Pituitary Tumor last year. The surgery went flawless, could not have asked for better. Dr. Tomita told us there was a chance of it returning, and just short of a year it did. He completed the surgery again and my expectations were set high because of the last time. Dr. Tomita pass my expectations once again with another flawless surgery again. No need for a second opinion when you have the top of the field looking at your problem.Thanks again Dr. Tomita and Wendy for all that you do.
