List of Timothy Gallagher Md's Reviews
My personal experience with this practice has been terrible and the stress it has caused me has caused more pain. I sent documentation to Dr. Lubenow in January. His front office staff lost it and even though it was refaxed and emailed it never got to the appropriate person. Speaking with the front desk woman at Oak Park, Noelle, wasn't any better if she was plain rude! The Clinical Coordinator, Mimi has no compassion or empathy. She enjoyed telling me that they wouldn't accept me as a patient without giving me a reason. When I was referred to Dr Jaycox by my wonderful surgeon at Rush, she did it in such a sarcastic, mean-spirited manner. I made some poor choices of doctors due to COVID-19 and another university being closed during that time. I was given 3 referrals that didn't work out for me. I even explained this in writing when I submitted my information. I cried and begged for help but Mimi was relentless. My surgeon referred me to a 3rd doctor there and I was rejected again! They've even gone so far as getting Google to delete my reviews of their practice. Shame on you! Dr. Lubenow has some power and control over all the doctors in this practice. I do not understand why they won't help a person my like me who has been in pain management on and off since 2000 due to a rollover car accident where I was broadsided and ejected from my vehicle. It is proof that I need top notch medical care as injections and a spinal stimulator haven't worked. This practice just isn't up to it!
When rating a Doctor, leave out, the office staff, the bad coffee, the color paint and pictures on the walls, bedside manner and all of the other nonsense which does not matter, when it comes to healthcare. All of those ridiculous comments have no place when rating a Doctor. If you are looking for a friend, get on social media, go to the museum for fine art, bring your own coffee, and paint your own walls any color that you would like. I feel privileged to have had the opportuniy to be a patient of Dr Lubenow. He is my hero and I am overwhelmed with his ability. Doctor Lubenow is a genius and a wonderful caring Doctor. I feel sorry for anyone who has not had the opportuniy of Doctor Lubenow 's level of skill. PS. If you are pill shopping, forget it. He will spot you a mile away.
Great doctor!
Dr. LUBENOW is a phenomenal physician. I initially saw Dr. LUBENOW in 2010 he had great bed side manners, was very thorough in explaining the procedures he performed and we had a plan to move forward in my treatment that resulted in my return to work in 2012. However, I returned to Dr. LUBENOW in 2016 due to a car accident and fall which added to my injuries. Dr. LUBENOW remains as precise, professional and thorough now as I recalled him in 2010, he takes his time because he is thorough, we agreed on a plan for treatment that resulted in a reduction of my pain meds. I trust his integrity and professionalism completely.
The absolute worst doctor to go to. I was injured at work and I sustained a shoulder injury that is affecting my entire right arm. He said it was caused by my neck and gave me multiple epidural injections that didnt work. When the pain didnt go away he came into the room and said there's nothing I can do for you and stormed out the room like a little kid. He had innitially told me that if the injections dont work he would have to operate but he then said that he has reached the limit to what he could do for me. I have since been to a different doctor and the new doctor that I went to using my insurance found a tear in my shoulder and that my shoulder is slightly pushed back from the fall. also he found that there's nothing wrong with my neck. So doctor lubenow is unprofessional, unethical, and has no sympathy for his patients. If you are going to him through workman comp, he will not help you Period. The wait time to see him is 2 to 3 hours after your scheduled appointment.
Re: Samuel Feuer - In the midst of this nightmare of covid-19, Dr. Gallagher has brought some peace of mind to my parent's worrying about their special needs son, whom they love with all their heart. He is making a special Herculean effort to call them from his bedside to give them some connection to their son (my brother) who is beloved and has a fan club of hundreds of friends. Dr. GALLAGHER, G-d is shining on you and you have already earned ample reward by these actions to always remain in His good graces. Thank you!!!!!!
Dr Lubenow is the best Dr in the country for CRPS. I have traveled across the country to see him for over 10 years. Without him I would have probably killed my self years ago. Great Dr!

If you have CRPS this is the doctor to go to. I literally don't know if I would still be alive today if it wasn't for him saving me. He has stood by my side through all of my ER visits, hospital stays, multiple different types of procedures needed and all of my surgeries.I can't say enough good things not only about him but his staff as well!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
