University Associates In Dentistry's Online Review Report Card

Terrible experience at University Associates Dentistry. We have dental insurance and my husband went in for a cleaning and an exam - both of which are covered by insurance. They charged us - without telling us about this fee - $300 for an assessment. They asked to put our card on file and we agreed to that - but then they charged the card. Had we known about this cost we never would have gone to this dentist. I'm not even sure why we were charged if exams are covered by insurance. They are not transparent about their fees. Go somewhere else and save your money.

I have got 10 restorations with Dr Schelkopf and would like to thank the doctor and his truly amazing assistant Sonya for being kind, attentive and patient to me. These are my teeth before and after.

I had a negative experience with care quality. I have been seeking dental care to correct the problems that result from being treated by Dr. Baer for years. My trust was misplaced. Never ending pain and substantial financial losses have been the consequence.

You are not going to find better than University Dental Associates! If you’re reading this review, it means you’ve made the wise decision to explore dental care. I congratulate you especially if you’ve been putting it off like I had. Shopping for a dental center was not unlike shopping for a new car. I explored five including that new teeth in 24 hours with the so called “smile consultant” to find out the process wasn’t really 24 hours when including the follow-up care. The “smile consultant” was a sly man trained in horrible sales practices designed to get one to sign on the bottom line NOW. They played on your self esteem more than the health benefits. I also witnessed them padding their 5 stars reviews on google. You are going to find honesty, compassion and expert care at University Dental Associates. From the front office reception staff to the dentists, they are professionals and experts in their fields of work. They have a passion for their work and delighted in sharing their expertise with me as their patient. I enjoyed the interactions they had with each other as well as with me. I was also impressed with their concern for my comfort. Although it is a busy dental center, there’s a calming effect as soon as you arrive. They are going to make sure you have everything you need for a comfortable recovery. Many people have asked me if I was afraid of the dentist. I wasn’t, I was afraid the bill and rightly so. You’re probably finding out dental work is expensive. University Dental Associates worked with me on costs and treatment choices. No good dental work is cheap, but I have no regrets in spending the money. It did take some budgeting, but again I have no regrets. I would like to end this review with my sincere thanks to assistants Belen and Nicole. You two are very much the brand of University Dental Associated. To Dr. Beaur, I love your no-nonsense approach to my teeth when they wouldn’t behave like you wanted them to behave. To Dr. Marcus, words cannot express my appreciation and gratitude for you. Really great place. Dr. Zalay was spectacular. Would highly recommend.

Staff was great Doctor was my hero ! . I was headed out the door to go on my trip and the tooth on my implant came off. Call them in a panic and they were able to get me in in less than an hour and out in 30 minutes. I was able to go on my trip.

Dr Marcus and his staff at UAD is nothing short of wonderful. Wait times are short, hygienists and friendly, and they are able to take care of all dental needs - cosmetic, medical, and emergency. They have a real person answering the phone for emergency services after hours, and Dr Marcus has personally gone out of his way multiple times to take care of me outside of the bounds of traditional hours. I’ve worked with UAD for Invisalign, cleanings, whitening, dental work and an unfortunate root canal. I’ve always been treated with extreme care and attention, with minor wait times and pleasant staff experiences. UAD is the best of the best, and if you’re lucky enough to have Dr Marcus as your provider, you are in the best hands!

I have been seeing Dr. Marcus for nearly 20 years and recently needed some complicated dental work. He is a phenomenal dentist--a true artist. He also is kind, funny, smart as a whip, and genuinely cares about all of his patients. Dr. Marcus goes above and beyond the call of duty in an emergency. When I was referred to him initially, I had been to a series of bad and mediocre dentists, and he fixed all of their wretched work. If you care about your health and appearance, choose Dr. Marcus.
