Ekg pads were not even stuck to my chest. (To much hair) test was inaccurate but doctor said everything was ok. Blood work was never done. Ultrasound was ordered but I don't know why and by who. Very unsatisfied. The why concerns me. I asked for a different doctor but no results. I csll but I never reach no one but the answering service. They do call back. Not on the same day. So far it's Been phone tag. Wait just got a call now. The day of the test. I found out just now why they want to do a ultrasound. But they did not change the doctor like I requested. Total waste of time snd money

Donated a kidney here. Never got the option to speak with the surgeon, after instructions were so vague. No kidney pillow/donor tee shirt/care basket given, some places do things this place does nothing. Nurses and staff were nice enough but don’t know how to stick people. Two swollen hands, busted veins, bruises, multiple pokes. The f/u phone call a few days after discharge was just a 6 question automated survey type call. After speaking with others who have gone through Loyola and other various hospitals around the country, i am shocked this location does not provide better care or give better education and instruction following a procedure as this.

Essentially, my mother went there to be quickly unalived!!!!! The oncologist was cold and didn't care about his patients! Absolutely horrible experience. If you want to die from your cancer, go to UI Health. These cancer doctors (0 stars) have no compassion for patients. Go ANYWHERE else before it's too late to save your life. Thank goodness for the NPs. At least they care. I gave 1 star because of their care for the patient.

I encountered some very nice people who were/are apart of this team. However please go somewhere else for your treatment. This hospital has definitely went down in the care for their patients. My mother was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago and although I loved some of her team from a personal aspect from a medical stance I would never go back. They could never biopsy the cancer so they treated her for Cervical(I believe) cancer because it was in that area. Fast forward she completed the treatment and once finished with chemo (only) they told her she was cancer free. Within 30 days the cancer blood work was showing cancer growing in her stomach. They advised her to enter into a research and of course she did because she wanted to believe this was the best option. After a month of this immunotherapy (don't do this)the bloodwork was showing this wasn't working and now the cancer is growing rapidly. She started declining at a rapid rate now it's crickets from the doctor. It's like she totally abandoned the case. I'm assuming she just didn't know what else to do. Unfortunately my mother did pass away soon after. I'm not saying this solely because my mother passed away but please skip the research skip this hospital and please understand everything about your options.

Enjoying lunch at the Au Bon Pain Cafe between appointments. The Southwest Chicken Salad was very fresh as well as the bread stick that came with it.
