Absolutely worst practice I have ever had the displeasure of needing care from. They do not provide the bare minimum of customer service, support or patient care. I would not send my worst enemy to this practice.
This is the worst pain clinic on the planet. it's impossible to reach a human by phone, they don't return calls. It's also dirty! The doctors are always rushed and not wanting to stay in the room for more than 4 minutes! And they are not great doctors. Timothy Lubenow is arrogant and aloof and does not give a shit about anyone. For the past few years all he's done is prescribe yet more opiods! That's all he does. He's quite snarky and absolutely lacking in compassion. Avoid at all costs!
I was seen there two months go. I called the center and the phone is answered but you're put on hold for an eternity. I called back and the same thing. After finally getting an appointment I sat in the waiting room long past the time I was scheduled. I cannot say anything good about this experience so far. After finally getting in I saw a doctor and was with him no more than five minutes but I was so thankful that someone knew I had pain. That didn't last long though. I was scheduled for a spinal injection but I had to cancel as I couldn't afford a MRI and a procedure all in one month. I had the MRI and was notified the day before the procedure. I had no way of getting to the center on that short notice. I was referred back to the office to reschedule. I sat and waited for over 45 minutes on line. Finally deciding to call back in the afternoon. Oh, I had left a message for a call back and it never came. So I called at about 3 p.m. and was able to get through to a heartless woman who had a voice of a woman but seemed like a robotic message. She was kind enough to reschedule my appointment but it was so far out I'd be out of pain medication. She gave me an appointment ten days out to see a doctor to get any more meds. I was very disheartened and at my age to be treated this way. I took it and came home to find another pain center. I also called patient relations and reported everything to them. This is no way to treat elderly people. I finally got a call from the manager of the clinic and she would get me medication this week. I'll be waiting to find out. If all this falls through I will never, ever return to that clinic or anything that has Rush's name on it. They have uncaring people in their office and practice. They have a lot to show me differently to gain my trust again in my medical treatment Kenneth T.
These people are ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CROOKS. First, the staff is horrible and mean. The consulting doctors were rude, egotistical and bad. The worse was the practicing doctors left me almost dead. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!!
Let me start by saying that Dr. Buvanendran is top in his field, that is why my wife has been seeing him for over 22 years. Even after moving away, we still make the 2+ hour drive to see him. She sees Dr. Buvanendran and Dr. Suvar and is very happy with them. Recently she developed an infection and Dr. Buvanendran, Dr. Dhillon and Dr. McNutt were prompt in making the diagnosis, getting her admitted and visited bedside at least 1x a day. This type of service is almost unheard of anymore. Also as far as the office personnel goes, Renata and Olga are always very knowledgeable and helpful. If you're complaining about having to wait to be seen, think of it this way, if you have to wait a while at your appointment, the doctor must be worthy of waiting for.
Addressed To LUBENOW,TIMOTHY Dear "Rush" Pain Center, I hope this message finds you basking in the glow of your latest actuarial spreadsheet, which I can only assume is color-coded in the vibrant hues of audacity. It seems you're under the impression that I, a mere mortal who narrowly escaped your clutches, owe you financial tribute for a medical adventure that was less "healing hands" and more "Final Destination: Healthcare Edition." Let me get this straight: I'm supposed to pay for services that can charitably be described as malpractice adjacent? Services that caused irreparable harm, nearly sent me to the Great Waiting Room in the Sky, and left me wondering if I'd mistakenly wandered into the set of a Kafkaesque medical procedural where "do no harm" is a punchline? Bold of you. Bold, indeed. This billing crusade feels like it was conceived in the same fever dream as Donald Trump's claim that Mexico would pay for his border wall. Did you consult with the ghost of Herbert Hoover before deciding that disaster survivors should also foot the bill for the rubble? Or perhaps Ayn Rand whispered in your ear: "The patient who suffers the most owes the most---it's only fair!" If so, you should know she's been dead for decades, much like your grasp of medical ethics. To be clear, the only thing your institution deserves from me is a spot in a dystopian novel about corporate greed gone haywire. (Spoiler alert: In Chapter Three, the protagonist turns the tables and sues for enough damages to buy a small island. I'm workshopping titles. Suggestions welcome.) Your persistence here reminds me of that one character in every zombie movie who refuses to acknowledge they've been bitten. The infection of greed has set in, and yet you shamble forward, clutching your ledger, moaning, "Pay...us...now." But here's the thing: I'm not interested in financing your next dubious attempt to blend capitalism and caregiving. If I wanted that, I'd invest in crystals or essential oils. Historical context might help you understand my position: In 1381, English peasants rose up against oppressive taxation in what became known as the Peasants' Revolt. They had pitchforks and torches; I have a keyboard and a pointed sense of humor. Different tools, same energy. Shall we revolt, or will you see reason before I have to compose a Change.org petition so scathing it's taught in AP History classes? And while we're at it, let's talk about accountability---or, in your case, the lack thereof. Imagine if Aragorn from The Lord of the Rings showed up at the Gates of Mordor demanding payment for a journey that nearly killed him. That's essentially what you're doing, except without the charm, nobility, or Orc-fighting prowess. You're billing Frodo for a one-way ticket to Mount Doom, and I'm here to say: Not on my watch, Sauron. I'd also like to point out the sheer gall it takes to send me a bill for your mistakes. It's giving "Marie Antoinette, but make it healthcare." The cake here, I assume, is the absurd notion that I should financially reward the trauma you inflicted. Spoiler alert: I'm not eating it. Let's be perfectly clear: I'm not paying this bill. Not now. Not ever. Not in this universe or any parallel dimension where I could theoretically owe you anything. Consider this my final communication on the matter, unless you'd like to receive an invoice for emotional damages and my time spent drafting this response (which, frankly, is Pulitzer-worthy and you're welcome). So, in conclusion: Cancel this balance immediately. Forgive the debt. And consider investing in a mirror large enough for your entire billing department to gaze into and reflect on its life choices. If you need help finding one, I hear Elon Musk is building giant reflective surfaces for when he colonizes Mars. It's on brand for him, and clearly, you're on a similar trajectory. Warm regards (but not too warm---you don't deserve cozy feelings), Paul Zubrys P.S. If you ignore this message and persist in sending bills, I will respond by sending annotated copies of A Christmas Carol with a detailed breakdown of why you're the Ghost of Healthcare Future. Spoiler: It doesn't end well for Scrooge.
Terrible office experience. Couldn't even make an appointment and I had a referral! Called 3 times. Zero compassion for a patient in pain!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
