The doctor is knowledgeable and charismatic . The wait is never long. No pressure to buy eyeglasses from them. They'll gladly give you a copy of your prescription, if you choose to purchase eyeglasses elsewhere.

Leaving this after 10 yrs ago visit. They insisted my eyes are bad and were very pushy to sell me glasses and got angry that I didn't buy. So now 10yrs later vision still 20/20

Fantastic optometrist and optician under one roof. When’s the last time that’s happened? Amazing doctor, explains everything clearly. The optician, Chuck, tirelessly helped me find colors and styles I didn’t even know I liked and then squeezed out the best deal possible for me. I think they are very affordable, appropriate for the neighborhood and an excellent selection of high quality hardware with trending styles.

I was in a panic! I flew in from Boston to visit family in Bucktown and discovered late afternoon that I left of all of my sclera lense care behind. Without a plunger, case and solution I would not be able to take them out. After calling over a dozen places Urban Eyecare got me in and saved the day! Kind, professional and heroic! Thank you!

I never write yelp reviews, but I had such a positive experience here that I wanted to make a point to sing Urban Eyecare's praises! Dr. Millsap is incredibly warm and knowledgable; I've never had a doctor actually explain each step to me. (Shocking, now that I think about it.) The overall friendly, helpful, in-depth approach of everyone in the office really did leave an impression on me. Thank you guys!

I've been going to Urban for several years now and have always appreciated my experience with them. Dr. Millsap is attentive, seems to remember me each year even though we have a single interaction a year, and thoroughly explains everything to me. His support staff are also very friendly and helpful, especially around choosing new glasses. I've been to other optometrists in the area who always try to upsell specialty products and overstep in ways that are not their jobs, but that has never happened at Urban and I always leave feeling respected.

Do not go here. They treated me horribly after dealing with fraud on my HSA at 34 weeks pregnant and clearly stressed. Do not go.
