This place has gone downhill since they became Village Medical. It was previously PCMA and I had been coming here since 2015. I’m frustrated now with their communication, lack of care and thoughtlessness upon visits. Without my consent, they will just schedule an appointment without confirming if the time works for you. I saw a PA today for an annual physical and told her I was feeling hot and sweaty suddenly in the past few months. Her solution was to keep your environment cool and don’t use heavy blankets when sleeping because I’m too young for pre-menopause 🙄 When I left, they asked if I would like to schedule my annual for 2024 and I said No because I don’t know what my schedule will look like. A few hours later, I got an email stating an appointment was made for me for next August! Upon making the appointment, I asked for a breast exam as my mom had breast cancer, and she did not do one. Just tapped on my stomach lightly and asked if it hurt. I had to specifically tell them what bloodwork I wanted done as well. Today was the icing on the cake and I will not be returning.

Outstanding service…from the minute we walked in the door. The ladies in the lab are Fantastic as well as the ladies in the office helping get all the insurance authorization. And lastly…Dr Nancy…thanks for saving our lives. The Bradys.

My appointment with Dr. Dissen on August 7, 2023 never happened. I contacted Village Medical and the representative then contacted Dr. Dissen’s office. I was told that the Dr. was running late and that I would be contacted again regarding an update for this appointment. An update or any notification was never sent to me before this review request. If the appointment needed to be rescheduled then that would not have a problem but the complete late of communication regarding this is upsetting.

Checking in (and checking out) is always easy - whether done in-person or online. Lisa at the front desk in the Chicago office is super helpful. The best care I've ever had from start to finish!
