Vios Fertility Institute - Wicker Park's Online Review Report Card

We absolutely loved working with Dr. Beltsos and the entire staff at Vios! We had gone through the run around at another very large and very impersonal Chicago fertility clinic, and we were not happy with their practices or the results after many failed IUI/IVFs. We switched to Vios and instantly felt warm and welcomed there. All the nurses were caring and thorough. Everyone was so helpful and empathetic. Dr. Beltsos' number one concern was us - and making sure we were successful. Everything was just different than the other clinic. More personal, more caring. Even the lighting was thoughtful- soft or dim lighting and soft playing music. I just felt at ease for all the procedures. The very first procedure we had at Vios (IVF) was successful and we are now the parents to a healthy baby boy! Well, he's 18months now! So we are eternally grateful to Dr. Beltsos and the staff and Vios for making our dreams come true! We definitely want to try for another one soon. So we are excited to work with them again! Thank you for our little guy!

I became a patient of Dr. Beltsos in 2014 (age 42) and I am currently 24 weeks pregnant at age 45. After all of the groundwork testing it was determined that my main issue was declining egg quality, but from the start Dr. Beltsos and her team were supportive of my desire to see if I could conceive with my own eggs (my insurance covers four rounds of IVF so we agreed to try three rounds, as long as things progressed well, before exploring donor eggs). I had two retrievals in 2015 and one in 2016, resulting in 12 total embryos (1 was chromosomally-sound). I can honestly say that I cannot imagine having a better experience, and I am forever grateful for Team Beltsos' care.

I can't say enough fantastic things about Vios or the staff. I first sat down with Dr. Jeelani and was shown a video of the entire process, how it works, what to expect and was highly educated which really helped. When you meet with the doctor you're invited into a comfy room with couches, snacks, music and coffee...and a visual presentation so you're confident in understanding what happens and why throughout the entire process.I never felt rushed and all your questions get answered, even if you have a ton.They even have videos in your portal just in case you need to refer to them for any reason. Dr. Jeelani goes WAY beyond my expectations of a doctor to assure you are having the best experience with the least amount of stress or problems. She even gave me her personal cell and told me to contact here any time...which you never want to do, but it did come in handy a few very important times...She even checked in to see how I was doing via text message towards the end of my cycle to make sure I was feeling okay.  What doctor does that?The staff is ALWAYS nice.  There is always music playing and during the retrieval and incubation period they play "baby making" music.While your embryos are incubating they leave them alone to ensure the best results.  They also keep music on to keep the good energy.  The previous clinic kept checking in on them daily and I was told that studies prove this actually destroys embryos during the incubation process.I felt Vios takes a very different approach than the first clinic I experienced.  Vios wants you to feel comfortable, educated and....No Stress...which was HUGE for me, and any couple going through this process, realistically.I always knew what to expect at Vios.  My appointments were easily made, and I didn't have to go in every other day like at a past clinic. You're always in and out for baselines in 15-20 minutes.  There's free parking in the back of the Wicker Park office plus street parking, and decent street parking at the West Loop facility.Dr. Jeelani is truly amazing and VERY compassionate.  She's very patient, educated and willing to share all the knowledge she has so you are comfortable with everything before you move forward and is open to any suggestions and truly wants to fulfill your desires for your family the healthiest way possible.Dr. Jeelani also did my retrieval which was great, she came in with a super woman cap and was even playing R. Kelly in the OR.I can't say enough about this facility or their staff.  Everyone is very personable, and want to do everything to make you feel comfortable and will give you as much information that they have to put you at ease.It was a MUCH different experience, all the way around, than the original clinic I had gone to.After each ultrasound I was told what my numbers were and how they compared to the previous ultrasound.  This was not only exciting but also very educational to help me understand a bit about the process and what my body was doing and what to expect next.I felt like I was truly part of the process here...not just a project that they would see what happens.I felt ZERO stress here.  I was always taken care of.  Everyone knew where I was at in the process so they could help.  The staff always knew where I was in the process, as if they were my friends, picking up exactly where we left off last.  They truly went through the process WITH me...and didn't just treat me as another patient in the cattle call.  I truly felt like I was more than just a patient and was always able to count on the staff to help guide me patiently through to the next step.They are quick to respond.  They do what they tell you they will do.  They are super nice.  Dr. Jeelani is always accessible.and...they make the process fun, believe it or not.Appointments are always on time. I couldn't say enough about recommending Vios if you are looking for a high quality experience with no stress less for this already nerve racking fertility journey.
