Yes, he is always nice and will not make you take a medicine you don't feel comfortable with. Also, he is conservative and will not recommend surgery on your thyroid just because you have nodules. He's just great.

I go there for Dr. Amanda Benjamin, she is amazing and I finally found a dr. Who cares... we need more like her in this world... she is amazing, as is the rest of the staff!

I like Dr. El-Harake because he is conservative. He didn't want to take the remaining half of my thyroid out because it has nodules and it MIGHT develop into cancer (like my first endocrinologist did). He just had it tested and then left it in. He's also willing to prescribe for other issues, like sleeping, and I don't have to go to another doctor for that. And he and his staff are all nice!

When I met with Dr. El-Harake and described to him my symptoms, the questions he asked each had a purpose and it seemed as if he was applying the countless scenarios he experienced in his past on the situation I presented him. Truly a great feeling.

I have been a patient of dr. Elharake for a few years now. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an endocrinologist. He is very knowlegble and professional in this field.

I was a patient of his and he was condescending at every visit. I had a huge goiter that he ignored. I kept telling him something was wrong and his response was “your numbers are normal, go home.” I went to a different doctor who did an ultrasound and found 9 nodules. After conferring with a surgeon they both agreed my thyroid should be removed.
