I have had both hips and one revision since 2001. I am glad I found Dr. Paproski back then. He is a Master of his profession and always takes time and doesn't make your appointments feel rushed. If your hips are aching, don't wait. He's the guy you want working on you.

Dr. Paprosky is a vibrant, brilliant, skilled and compassionate diagnostician and surgeon. The excruciating and debilitating pain of bone on bone osteoarthritis had literally crippled me and made me entirely dependent. Thanks to Dr. Paprosky, I am pain free, mobile and fiercely independent again —just six weeks after surgery—a recovery that surprised and delighted my physical therapists and me. My family and I are so very grateful to Dr. Paprosky for eliminating pain, restoring mobility and giving me a much brighter future.

Dr. Paprosky is still just as amazing as he was 30 years ago! I had been on crutches for 8 years with PVNS (from 24-32 years old). He gave me a new life when he did my hip replacement at 32 y/o! I’ve had 2 revisions but am still going strong. In the past 20 years, I’ve completed 2 full Ironman triathlons, 7 half-Ironmans, marathons & just finished RAGBRAI (536 miles of biking across Iowa). Dr. Paprosky is still very attentive, thorough & compassionate. Thank you Dr. Paprosky for the work you’ve done for me & for thousands of others!

Very impressed with both Dr. Paprosky and his colleague Dr. Kerbel during the initial assessment of my right hip. Both my primary and a very good friend have highly recommended Dr. Paprosky and I would now concur. Looking forward to replacement in September and getting back to a more active life.

This review was prompted by an initial visit to assess the condition of my knees. Dr Paprosky was friendly and succinct in explaining my knee issues. He was respectful of my concerns and suggested alternatives for me to consider. Because I have great faith in his abilities (see below), I scheduled an upcoming surgery on the worse knee. I went to Dr Paprosky because of my prior experience with him when he performed a hip replacement surgery for me seven years ago, which went flawlessly. It should be noted that, as a big guy, the first doctor I saw was unwilling to do that surgery. I view Dr Paprosky's willingness to proceed as a testament to his ability and to his humane concern for patients' welfare. In summary, I can only recommend him in the highest terms.
