Very appreciative of Dr. Tan. She sincerely listens respectfully and patiently to my particular needs and advises accordingly. She is the first nephrologist I've had who has clearly explained alternatives and consequences and does not just push pills, or experimental treatments, or dialysis. She is very helpful and communicates well to address present and future needs and has spent a great deal of time with each appointment. Compared to the previous 16 years of care I have exxperienced, Dr. Tan, I feel, is genuinely cncerned for my well being and has monitored my condition well. My appointments have been time well spent.

Great Doctor. Spends time with the patient; listens well and explains things carefully. Not quick to put someone on dialysis. Respectful works with the patient for the best alternatives.

She did not explain things well. I had to find out from my gynecologist that I had a chronic kidney disorder, not from Tan. In addition, she was not very friendly or enthusiastic.
