Anju Agarwal Md's Online Review Report Card

This visit, my first and my last, was a nightmare! About a month ago, I finally fought my way into getting an appointment although Stacy, the "gatekeeper to appointments" showed no interest in seeing someone like me who only had hypOthyroidism, although I had never had the pleasure of actually seeing an endocrinologist but was put on meds by a primary care physician. Finally got an appointment set up. However, she told me in front of the entire packed waiting room that I, could not be seen since I needed to update my bloodwork although I had 6-month-old bloodwork on record and could have gotten it done AFTER meeting with Dr. Agarwal according to someone else in the office. I had already previously asked TMH to speak with them since it is difficult for me to get out for appointments. That seemed to work per TMH's referral department. so I went to the appointment where Ms. Stacy would not let me see Dr. Agarwal, and I was rejected in front of the entire office packed with NON-HYPOTHYROIDISM patients apparently, and was sent packing. Phoned TMH from my car, and they followed up with 2 phone messages left for Stacy which she refused to return. My daughter was referred there with her hypothyroidism and got in! She said the doctor was super nice and knowledgeable, so I had looked forward to meeting her (therefore 1 star!) The poor doctor needs to clean her personnel house starting right at the top and get rid of that miserable office manager. Who in the world does this to patients? And who does not return calls to TMH? TMH said they have had this same trouble before....Ugh. Big fish, little pond.

Dr. Agarwal is courteous, kind, and thorough. She always takes time to hear and address our concerns regarding our son’s condition. The office staff is VERY disorganized, ever changing, and it is extremely difficult to get a human on the phone or returned calls. Everyone is courteous when you speak to them, and you feel that it is handled, BUT! they don’t follow through! It’s as if you never called! The ONLY reason we continue is because we love Dr. Agarwal. She definitely needs an office manager, or someone to straighten out, monitor, and maintain the way the office is run. We have never experienced such lack of communication and follow-up with any other medical office!
