Benjamin Brooks Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Brooks is a Pediatric Doctor that actually cares about his patients. I called his office advising my son was experiencing issues, they got him in quickly. Dr. Brooks immediately came in and diagnosed Colt, along with treating and monitoring him. He showed compassion and tenderness in a time that not only my son was anxious but so was I. Dr Brooks provided care to where my son was taken care of and even offered for us to have access to him on a weekend if he was needed. This is above and beyond what he needed to do. Dr. Brooks is not only an amazing individual but an exceptional Doctor.

My little sister and I both used Dr. Books for a time being some years back. We first used Dr. Brooks when our original primary doctor was out of country on vacation and my mom just had my little sister. Dr. Brooks made my mother bring in my sister very often because of her weight and height, even though we knew it wasn't an issue. When our primary doctor came back, he even said, "You just have small babies. It's fine!" Later down the line, we had to use Dr. Brooks once again. I was beginning puberty and hated my experience with this doctor. I distinctly remember trying to tell him about my knee hurting and something else in the same visit, only for him to tell me, "No, only one issue per visit. You have to make another appointment if you want to talk about something else." That's about as bad as my experience gets with Dr. Brooks, but I have also heard horror stories from family friends who took their children there, including one person whose daughter would have died had she not decided to get a second opinion. The office was nice though, and so were the nurses. But I would not recommend Dr. Brooks to anyone.

We love Dr. Brooks! He is thorough and down to earth. His staff is all kind, as well. We have also seen Dr. Branham, and she is lovely. What I most appreciate about this practice is that they care not only about the physical, but about all forms of your child's development. Something I remember that stuck out to me was on my first visit with every child, Dr. Brooks took time to ask about mom was doing with new baby, breastfeeding questions, etc. It made me feel like he was invested in our child's welfare, and now 11 years and three children later, I still feel this way.

Mom of 5. We found Dr Brooks after our two previous family doctors moved out of town. I was hesitant to see a pediatrician but I'm glad I took the chance! We've now seen both Brooks and Branham and they feel like family. Dr Brooks is supportive and encouraging and I always leave feeling then when I came in. My kids love him! Their office staff is also friendly and welcoming. In my opinion, Dr Brooks is one of the best doctors anywhere.

Dr. Brooks has been our daughter's pediatrician for 11 years - since her birth. We feel fortunate to have found him early and been able to stay with him. He is compassionate and takes extra time to speak with his patients and their parents. I never feel rushed when we visit. I appreciate that he doesn't medicate unless necessary and he continues to share suggestions for being proactive about our daughter's health when we're in the office for well-child visits.

I have been taking both of my daughters to see Dr. Brooks since I can remember. Every single time we go to B&B Pediatrics, we always feel welcome and just as valued as the other patients. Dr. Brooks is an outstanding doctor who is continuously learning new things, keeping up to date on best practices and treatments. Recently my daughter fell ill with pneumonia, and Dr. Brooks was there every step of the way. He is reliable, thorough, and truly cares about the health and well-being of children. He has an outstanding bedside manner and makes my daughter feel at ease and comfortable. I believe it is very important that the physician and parent can keep an open line of communication with each other, and in my experience Dr. Brooks totally understands this. He always answers any questions I have, backing it with knowledge and experience. We truly love Dr. Brooks, and that he cares for our girls like he would his own kids. I appreciate all he has done for my daughters and all he will continue to do. He is so much more to us than a pediatrician, and I hope he realizes what a great doctor he is!

Though the doctor is very good and has done a great job with both of my kids, the wait time in the office is a little ridiculous. For my son's wellness check we waited 45 minutes. When my son was sick we waited almost an hour and just recently when my daughter was sick we waited almost 2 hours. They need a better office manager or something to be able to determine why 30-minute appointments turn into an hour and a half appointments so frequently...

I see negativity about this doctor, I'm thinking you must have went to the wrong doctor's office. Great staff, amazing doctor, will continue to use! Thank you Dr. Brooks!!
