I was referred to Dr. Kefalas for a second opinion from an MD friend our ours in regards to my broken leg. Good thing I went to see him because there were so many other issues beyond the break that were overlooked during my first evaluation with another ortho Dr. The Dr and the staff members that I have met are fantastic and the communication from this office is great. I hope I will not do anything in the future that requires an ortho Dr, but if so I will be going back to Dr. Kefalas and his staff.

excellent he has replaced my hip and two days ago my right knee . I can't emphasize how great his staff is and how thorough he is. He absolutely listens and completely explains all aspects of your procedure.

Was out of work for three months with left knee pain , through physical therapy still having the same issues! I was given a shot and said that was good enough. Back out of work two weeks later for a fractured right knee femur was off work again for another three months still feeling pain. I’m due to go back to work now my left knee is acting up again !Dont know what I’m going to do. Can’t take anymore time off. All I got was fist bumps bills and pats on the back.

Everything from the mri to the post operation follow ups were first class and all the steps were very well communicated. I have recommended Dr. Kefalas and will asked about my total hip replacement.

From the day I had my open MRI done until the day I was released from the hospital I was well informed of my physical situation and the procedures that would be done to correct it. The MRI showed that arthritis had consumed my right hip and joint. Dr Kefalas and I went over the MRI photo and he explained how he could correct my situation and that I would need to get a total hip replacement. I thanked him for his time and then got back to his office and scheduled the procedure. This whole process was professional and his office handled working with my insurance company and setting up the surgery. Well , I got out of the hospital after one day and had a Rehabilitation plan in place and the items that I needed to handle this. Dr. Kefalas checked on me several times in the hospital and explained the next moves,he is a very sincere knowledgeable surgeon and caring man. I would highly recommend his services to anyone going through this trying time in their life.
