Dr. Murphy is both professional and personable when interacting with patients. He listens attentively to concerns and questions and offers options and explanations in layman's terms. He is a wonderful cardiologist!

Dr. Murphy asks the right questions. He makes me feel confortable, which makes seeing a heart doctor ( life and death stuff) easy. He got me to an appointment with help of a wonderful expert staff (they also make him look good) and got me to surgery quickly. The surgery was above his comfort level as my condition was worse than suspected and handed me off to Dr. Smith and together they saved my life with a quadruple bypass and did not even stop my heart which speeded up my recovery time and I was back teaching full time high school math in three weeks and community college at the same time. Follow up was great and 6 years latter I am retired and in excellent shape. He saved my life.

Truly a fine person and a great doctor. Doctor Murphy held my wifes hand through heart surgery to close and hole inside her heart and brain surgery. He did not have to spend time reassuring her, but he did. Great Doctor and the only Doctor we treat as a family member. Fantastic Doctor.

Doctor Murphy is one of the nicest doctors I have ever seen. The only problem is that this makes him very popular and therefore hard to get in to see sometimes. I feel like he is very adept at what he does and I have a lot of confidence in his diagnosis. I highly recommend him.
