This place needs better staff training on how to treat people, especially the people sitting at the front desk at the security very rude and very disrespectful.
It was hard to setup a dental appointment. When I had a dental emergency, they gave me an appointment 2 months later and refused to find any earlier time. Well, there are other dental offices around the area.
Doctors and nurses are ok but they have the worst receptionist. I hardly never complain but all the older Asian receptionist are EXTREMELY Racist. I'm just trying to simply sign in. Some people just need to retire .This is a part of dorchester where they treat certain races like trash just so only their people will be around. It's Boston so I'm usto a little discrimination but these people blatantly let you know they don't like your skin.
This place is just not it anymore ! You have patients traveling to your establishment because they are sick, only for you to tell them you temporarily suspended urgent care???? But didn’t update your website showing that. Very unprofessional! Find a new clinic this one has gone all the way down hill
AVOID DENTAL OFFICE ‼️‼️‼️ Everytime I call I’m either on hold for hours or the send me to voicemail. When I go in person receptionist play “who can ignore the patient longer”. I was told by two different dentist in the month of July and august that they will send a referral somewhere to get my root canal checked out. It is now November and I have not heard from anyone. I will no longer book dental appointments here. After 6 years I had it. I will only come back for my wonderful work pcp
The actual doctor is fine but literally trying to reach them is impossible. They have staff working the phones who don't know how to do their jobs or care to do their jobs. My chart is useless for most things that you need to reach out to the physician for. The actual literal phone connections themselves are trash too. I'm going to try to switch somewhere else.
Is it possible for this place to go from bad to worse? Absolutely. Recently started helping out a disabled relative who had been receiving “care” at Dorchester House. She has an incurable disease that has gone from bad to worse. Her PCP at D House retired 2 years ago and NOBODY followed up with this relative since then. Case manager has consistently dropped the ball from Home Health Aid services, to medical transportation, to walking aids, to STILL not having a PCP. Once again I am having to change medical service to a different hospital for a family member….. There should be better medical services available in Dorchester This review was left 8 years ago: Service at Dorchester House has steadily declined. Have not been able to get an appointment for annual physical in the past 2 years. My daughter was throwing up in the waiting room with flu, and still had to wait over an hour and a half to be seen WITH appointment. Patients are no longer able to contact nurses or doctors. Everything is incredibly impersonal. Sorry to say that my family will be moving on to different medical care facility. Coming from a (soon to be former) patient for the last 38 years
Blood work at Lab, my daughter had a blood work after her checkup, and it was a terrible experience ever. Multiple reckless attempts on her right arm, even the band aid shifted to one side not covering on the wound, and a big bruise on her left arm the next day where she got the blood work done.. I still feel extremely anxious about the experience after 2 days.
WORSE SERVICE EVERRRRRRR!!!! SHOULD GET ZERO STARS!!! THIS PLACE IS JOKE CANT EVEN GET THRU TO MAKE A SIMPLE DENTAL APPT. LIKE REALLY OVER A MONTH TRYING TO SCHEDULE SOMETHING!!!!! SWITCHING DENTAL ASAP 👎👎👎👎
Horrible. Dot house need to train their Vietnamese translators more. The point of being an interpreter is to help patients and doctors understand each other, not get annoyed when patient ask questions and just choosing what to translate. I know state law requires these people to have a certification to be a medical interpreter, but it doesn’t look like they have it to me. They struggle to translate some words and often time skip it, that is not the ethics an interpreter should have and they should know that if they did go through professional training. Every time I’m there with my parents, I can sense the attitude the interpreter gives while my parents address their concerns. Often times I would have to take over and talk with the doctors myself because interpreters aren’t saying everything that is needed. My parents walk out saying that they feel inferior because of the way the interpreters acted and because they see the interpreter gossiping about them when they walk pass and everyone looks at them. I went in today again and saw the interpreter put on a heavy tone with my mom acting like she was dumb for addressing her concern, interpreters chose to not express that to the doctor and completely ignored it. No respect for patients that lacks the language to communicate! The center is only getting worse with these people!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
