Phenomenal practice, I've been taking my kids here for 18 years. Never once considered changing

Shortly after our daughter started school I noticed a small bald spot on her head. I scheduled an appointment at Dr Ayustes office and was thrilled they were able to get us in so quickly in our neighborhood of DG. While waiting I was bothered to see they didn't have a restroom in the clinic (you have to walk down the long hallway to a shared restroom with other commercial tenants. ) More than a little annoying when Potty training. Dr. Ofelia and Dr. Boyle saw my daughter and diagnosed her with ring worm and gave me a referral to a dermatologist. The dermatologist immediately told me they had misdiagnosed her and was surprised they would conclude ring worm since she didn't have any of the symptoms. Though I am grateful for the referral I was absolutely baffled with their lack of concern for their ringworm diagnosis, as it is highly contagious and would have quickly spread to me and my husband because we all share hair brushes and combs. As a new Illinois resident without any medical knowledge I was at the mercy of the doctors and have to say I will not be back to see these pediatricians. Would not recommend.

I have seen all the doctors in the practice and they are great. I can always get an appointment when my kids are sick and if the doctor's need to follow up with my kids' illness they always call.

We have been with the practice for 11yrs and lover everything about it. They are caring, attentive and straight forward. We highly recommend them!!

I like Cathleen. I really dislike Ofelia. I really dislike the office staff. The receptionist is fat out rude. Cathleen is friendly but often is too rushed. The entire staff treats you like you "should know" even when you are a first time parent. I found this frustrating because I felt like I was being a pain when I asked questions. The waiting room is small and it grosses me out that we all have to wait in such a small area with no sunlight. I hate taking my kids there for well baby check ups because I always feel like we end up sick.

I always feel like I am inconveniencing them. It is as if they are half way out the door when they are first walking in. I found them insulting when I was a first time mom. Acting as if I should know the answers to the questions I was asking. There is always a complaint about my kids (too short, too skinny, doesn't talk enough, ... blah, blah, blah... not in the 50%). My 5 year is very articulate and most of the time when she asks a question, she gets ignored. The receptionist is unbelievable rude! While sitting in the exam room waiting, I can hear her complaining about clients on the phone. I HATE CALLING OR GOING THERE!

I have always taken my daughter to this doctor for physical exams and vaccinations. My daughter's last vax's were done by her in 2007, my daughters freshman year. Now she is registering for college and I need the dr. to fill out immunization forms and sign it. I have my daughters vaccination form, from freshman year, all I need is for her to transfer it on the college form. I was told today that the Dr. will Not sign off on the new form with all the vaccines she has done unless I pay for a physical exam, urinalysis, blood work etc... I told them these are just the vaccinations that my daughter has received from them. They have them in her file. Again I was told that unless I paid for over $300 of services I was not going to get the Dr. to sign off on the college's immunization record. I always knew paying $180.00 for a childs Physical exam was too much to pay! All they care about is money! Thank God the college accepted the records I already had from them. This place is aweful!!!

very thourough and helpful. will answer ALL of your questions and you will never feel rushed. easy to get in to see her as well.
