Started out with a doctor at Wheaton who managed to pretty much ruin one of my eyes through not paying attention to details due to too many patients. Switched to Dr. Ahn and the difference is amazing! He has fixed the damage as far as medicine can and has a wonderful attitude. He talks "doctor" to me (because I can understand that) and spends the time LISTENING to me and answering questions. Had a question once before surgery and messaged him only to get a phone call back! Now that is service above and beyond. And we resolved my anxiety to both his and my satisfaction. I wish I had come to Dr. Ahn in the first place. Maximum time I ever waited to see him was just under 30 minutes, which is a totally acceptable time for any doctor's office. Usually less than that. Well organized and knowledgeable staff, too. Just make your appointment; you can thank me later.

Dr Ahn is a miracle worker. He gave me excellent vision after my cataract surgery. I had a special lens put in for my astigmatism that cost me extra, but with the fantastic results I got, I would have paid ten times more for it. I first went to a doctor that told me that I probably wouldn’t get perfect vision with a cataract operation even with the special lens, and be prepared to have to wear soft lens. I decided to check out Dr Ahn instead because two people I know went to him and got fantastic results. Sure enough after he did the operation I could see excellently and also got the added bonus of being able to read up close. I didn’t expect that! Seeing without glasses is one of the most exciting things that ever happened to me. Dr Ahn is nice, extremely smart, and sometimes you may think he is a little quick to get you out of his office, but don’t let that bother you. He doesn’t waste his time with the small stuff. He gets the job done excellently and has to move on to other patients to preform miracles on them.

Dr. Ahn is Great, I felt very comfortable with him. He explains so you know what's going on, answers questions. I'd recommend him in a heart beat. Also he is THE ONLY ONE out of All the Doctor's, Nurses etc. that WASHES his hands. Thank you Dr. Ahn

I had corneal dystrophy 2017 going blind and anxious about surgery. Dr Ahn was kind and very competent changing my life by performing surgery and allowing 20-20 Vision to return. I am grateful forever as he made a stressful situation less stressful using kindness and empathy. He is the best!

Dr. Ahn is an incredible doctor. He is very kind and took to time to answer and explain all of my questions. Everything went smoothly and he performed my surgery expertly--giving me stunning vision and very minimal discomfort.

Can't think of a better choice for a doctor.

Dr. Ahn is amazing. I had Fuchs cornea dystrophy and was basically going blind. Dr. Ahn surgery resulting in me seeing 20-20 in about 3 weeks. I have never before met such a kind and thorough Doctor. He did my second eye a year later. I can still teach, as I can still see!

Dr. Ahn is very competent and skillful. My cataract surgery went very well and the recommended replacement lenses are working very well. I visited both the Downers Grove and the Naperville offices and the surgery center and feel I was in good hands for all the presurgery, surgery and post surgery process. Some of the directions for taking drops seemed to be different from the office visits compared to the directions I received from the surgery center....but overall, the discrepencies were handled by asking for clarification.
