Dr. DeBoer performed a triple bypass on me in January. 4 months later my LIMA artery had closed 90 percent with scar tissue. This is an artery that very rarely has issues in bypass surgeries and could last a lifetime. I did some research on why there might be an issue and did not like what I read. My sternum wires were not closed all the way. I have two with double tips due to not twisting them completely.I still have a silk thread hanging on my left thigh after 7 months, was not cut deep enough

This was my first visit with Dr. DeBoer. I found him to be extremely interested in my medical problem, very thorough in his evaluation and explained my situation in a manner I could understand. He was in no rush and gave me ample opportunity to ask questions. His intense listening and studying of my medical history was most professional and impressive. He and his staff were all extremely courteous, friendly and professional.

I saw Dr. DeBoer earlier this week and was extremely happy with every aspect of my visit. All of the office staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I believe I have finally found the doctor that will be able to get me back to an active lifestyle.

Dr. DeBoer performed major open heart surgery on me in December 2015 and saved my life. His obvious education, surgical skills and training along with his relationship and care for his patients are a credit to his practice and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of this type of Cardio Vascular surgery.
