He was thorough and knowledgeable, a good analyst too. I liked the way he tried the most non invasive approach first. Most importantly, he was refreshingly ENTHUSIASTIC about his specialty. A real winner of an MD!

Dr. Tulipan had been using 1 medical procedure code for all of my finger surgeries in the past (7 years or so). Last month, I got the exactly the same surgery from him, but he said his management decided to put 1 extra code, total 2 codes for his surgery this time. They claimed basically more than double of the amount with 2 codes. The higher amount is definitely hurting me. I asked him why he put 2 codes when I visited his office, but he got angry and slammed a medical table in front of me violently by shouting at me, "Listen to me!". I would strongly suggest that you check with him how many codes he/his management will use before your surgery and check with your insurance company to estimate how much you will have to pay in advance. If he is using 2 codes, I would look for a different doctor who uses 1 appropriate/inclusive code on your finger surgery. Please be careful, and your "doubt" may help you.

Great doctor. He doesn't rush you. He explains the problem and possible solutions very nicely. He doesn't put any pressure to have the surgery right away.

Dr Tulapan is exceptional. Very wise, honest, and compassionate. Would recommend!

Dealing with RA after a very healthy life has been difficult and frustrating, however, throughout seeking care to get as close to normal, there have been extremely professional and helpful physicians. This doctor is wonderful. He is attentive, caring, and helpful. Saw him for hand pain and lack of movement of my fingers. He listened to my concerns, explained the cause of the difficulties, and offered a solution. All the time, he listened and heard what I was saying, something of a rarity in healthcare, at times. He is excellent in administering those somewhat painful injection. I felt nothing more than pressure because he took the time to numb my hand prior. I highly recommend Dr. Tulipan with DMG. He is a kind man, with a great sense of humor, but most importantly, a good and caring physician.

Excellent surgeon! He has taken care of my hands and forearms for years. He performed a dequavens release on my left wrist He performed a carpal tunnel release on my right hand. He performed a ulner neve reposition on my right elbow all 3 procedures were flawless

I went to Dr. Tulipan today for the first time. While he was multitasking me with other patients, I found him to be extremely professional and funny. I didn't mind him going in and out of my exam room seeing others because he took good care of me! They have their own x-ray machines on site so you don't have to make a second appointment after the x-rays. He reviews them and shows you where your problems are right on the x-rays, and what he can do to help you. treated me right there and I was home an hour later! He explained in detail what to expect and what can be done if his treatment is not successful, but uses surgery only as a last result. My husband and I really liked him and felt very comfortable with him. The other staff was very good too! I highly recommend him!!~!!

Honest and down to earth! He was very accommodating on getting me scheduled. Office staff is very busy but get you processed through quickly. I would and have recommended Dr. Tulipan to many friends and colleges.
