List of Good Samaritan Bhorade Cancer Center's Reviews
They were very nice to my mother five years ago nice quiet place, real blessing to her I think
Testicular torsion!! Go somewhere else they did absolutely nothing to help. They are supposed to be a Trauma 1 hospital with a Urologist on staff! Over 3 hours and they did nothing
Horrible service i had a terrible pain in my ear due to an infection I waited 5 hours jut to give me pain medication and antibiotic ..poor communication, careless.never coming back here.
I have been a patient at Advocate Good Sam for over ten years. They saved my life when I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. I am 68 years old. They have an online app called LIveWell, where you pay your bills, where each one is listed individually. I had paid them thousands of dollars out of pocket over the past couple of years via their LiveWell app. I waited to pay the bill because there was miscommunication about which of my insurances was primary. I paid the bill after that got worked out. In the meantime, Advocate sent some of the charges to collection without my knowledge nor notifying me. Three months later, I get a collection notice for the $175. The stress from the notice gave me heart palpitations for two weeks. I thought I was going to die and I was in a lot of pain. I tried calling their patient rep advocate for complaints, to inquire why they put me up for collection so soon and for such a small amount. I left several messages, and they never called me back. I called the billing office and found out they had put a couple more of my bills up for collection but would not tell me the amounts. I have several doctors there and have had much lab work done there. I feel that the billing department and administration are most unprofessional and have considered finding new physicians at another hospital. I am most disappointment since my physicians there are pretty good.
Staff was really friendly from the moment you walk in till you say goodbye. I was having outpatient procedure and felt very comfortable in their care. One thing I really didn't care for was the entrance you come in. It's like a wind tunnel down there and it catches all the leaves and it just looks dingy. Good Sam has a beautiful entranceway with a wraparound driveway.
I had a very disappointing experience at the Good Samaritan Hospital Cancer Infusion Center. My appointment time was changed without my approval, and I was told to come 30 minutes earlier if possible . I did my best to accommodate this change and still arrived within the standard 15-minute grace period. Despite this, they cancelled my scheduled iron infusion treatment, which takes about 2 hours to complete even though there was still more than enough time to complete it. The lack of understanding, flexibility and professionalism, the poor communication and dismissive attitude from both the nurses and the manager (as the change in the schedule was my fault) were very frustrating, especially given the importance of these treatments for patients’ health. I expected more compassion and professionalism from a facility that provides critical care. This kind of treatment is unacceptable in cancer/infusion treatment center where empathy ,compassion and respect should be the standard.
I had to wait a while in the ER but once I was taken back they took great care of me staff was great! That was my 1st time there & I would go back.
The emergency room desk/receptionist staff should be reminded of what it means to work in an environment that deal with people that need heath care. People skills and compassion are important skills to have in this kind of environment. If they can't do their jobs with somewhat of human compassion a little decency and definitely some basic manners, maybe it's time to reevaluate job choices. I watched this staff this evening for three hours just be cold and disheartening towards the people coming in and needing care. They can't seem to answer some of the simplest questions. It like they are bothered, without realizing it's their job. They might not know the answers to all the questions but the responses were just rude and cold and people never got answers. They shrugged shoulders and walked away. It's not about being desensitized either. The women with the medium length straight black hair eating dinner at her computer desk/chair could be trained better on her people skills. She works in an emergency room in a hospital with a trauma center. Act with some sympathy and care for the patient/customer And whomever the lady was with the fake sympathy whom sounded scripted is just sad. The hospital needs to do a better job on whom they let care for the emergency room. damn the security guard were more helpful and so much nicer than the staff working. Drs and nurses are much better if you ever make it to the back for treatment. But seriously we left because the wait was to long and no information was given about times or anything. We went to northwestern/central dupage hospital. Much nicer staff even with all the changes and through the construction of their ER they are still not rude people.
run as fast as you can from this ER the girls act high school and they're just mean girls. Emily is the worst. it's appealing because there's never anybody in the waiting room, but I honestly know why don't bother with the patient advocate. You won't get anywhere.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
