List of Thomas Mccaffrey Md's Reviews
Very Professional. I was surprised that on my first visit and meeting Dr. McCaffery was full knowledgeable on my cancer history, prior treatments, and recent radiological test. He discussed my new cancer problems, suggested alternative procedures, then detailed his recommended procedure to remove the cancer while protecting my facial nerves. Very satisfied.
Didn't help me at all. Very disappointed. He was very dismissive. Kept trying to walk out of the room while I was asking for help. He didn't listen at all. Fine another Dr who cares about their patients. Seems like USF Doctors don't really care. Second Doctor at USF that I had an appointment with was almost the same way. Very sad
Dr McCaffrey explained everything to me and was true and upfront with my procedure. I do not like Drs that explain everything with colors and flowers....I told him...do not beat arounf the bush...he made me feel comfortable thru this difficult time. He is a very intelligent Dr...thank you! !!
Very profesional, Dr McCaffrey explained in detail the procedures from beginning to end. He is very knowledgeable in his field and at the same time compassionate and caring. He even called me the day after my outpatient surgery to check and see how I was doing! Excellent Dr!
This dr is bad news. Communication skills are lacking and he misdiagnosed my husbands second cancer saying it was a sinus infection. Valuable time lost due to this. Also no pre-op consultation so the extent of his surgery was a total shock. We only found out what was to happen 5 minutes before scheduled surgery. Not a good way to inform patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
