Good information from Dr. McAllaster. Easy to talk to, congenial. However, his nurse told me not take the Ozempic shot before my procedure, but did not tell me that the anesthesiologist would be worried about my potassium level. I have been on hctz/ spionolactone for 30 some years and have blood tests every three months and never have problems. But I had to go in the day before procedure and get a potassium test. I also had to get the liquid form of the “clean out” medicine due to my insurance and the liquid was awful. It was different than what my husband took and it cost me even after insurances. Perhaps the nurse should watch for that potassium level for others.
