One will never find a more caring concern surgeon! He saved my life by being pro active , and on top of that he looked after my spiritual well being! Living in a small town I have never been more thankful that I had the best of the best surgeons in the USA!

So far they didn't know I existed. Still waiting on call back. Not judging him but not impressed to date

This gentleman is a general surgeon in a very small town about one hour south of Champaign Urbana. I was on my way down to Granite City, IL by way of Salem, IL, first, when, awakening one day about 15 years ago, I noticed a large palpable lesion proximal to my left ear. Experiencing no pain whatsoever I thought I should see a physician and knew enough to avoid the primary care providers in a town like this. I went to the area hospital, found the best looking nurse I could and asked her to recommend the best general surgeon in the community, and that she did. I saw Doctor Boyajian later that day and was scheduled, the following day, to have the lesion I&d'd. All went well, though I did have a staph infection likely the result of being beaned by a fastball around that location 7 years earlier in high school. All in all I believe that this amazingly competent and caring gentleman did much to save my life. The only annoyance regarding the entire experience involved a mousy office manager,I believe this individual was, through whom I was forced to suffer post surgically on follow up a day or two later, who seemingly had nothing better to do with her time besides gossiping from the minute I arrived to the second the nurse called me back. I'm quite certain my next procedure, an infected pilonidal cyst treated at a VA hospital in San Diego, would have been better tolerated, sans anesthesia, than having to listen to this motor mouth for even two additional minutes. Notwithstanding this gnat like annoyance, the experience with this exemplary physician, and his entire professional staff, could not have been better. The town in which he practices is blessed to have such an incredible doctor at its beck and call.

I would certainly and confidently recommend Dr. Boyajian for breast surgery. He was superior in handling my partial mastectomy! A very kind and caring surgeon to go along with his vast experience!

He Is An AWESOME DOCTOR!!!!! Never Had A Doctor Listen To Me and Explain My Options and Explain Exactly What They Were Going To Do....Great Care!!!!!!

Dr. Boyajian is caring for my mother who is recently diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer. Dr. Boyajian has performed 2 surgical procedures on my mom within 10 days at the Effingham Surgical Center. He makes my mom feel like she is his only patient! I see my mom at peace under his care and expertise. Cathy is Dr. Boyajian's nurse; she is a beautiful and heartfelt person who talks to my mom with patience and hope. I am a big city woman but Dr. Boyajian makes me have great faith and confidence in this small town practice. However, his office ladies leave much to be desired. They are dried up and less than helpful but please know Cathy R.N. and Dr. Boyajian are amazing! So blessed my mother is in his care.

Doctor Boyajian is an excellent surgeon and gentleman. He has some mousy, nosy, office workers but he, himself, and his nursing staff, is excellent. The only GS in Effingham worth seeing for sure.

I have had multi-surgeries and he is the best, excellent patient/dr connection. Wanted to make sure that I understood everything before leaving the room. I feel very comfortable and I know he cares.His staff... oh my...they are excellent, not one has ever had a negative/hateful attitude with me at all. BIG plus is I don't have to wait long once I get there to see Dr. And Not once did I ever hear his team talk negative about anyone and NEVER talked about another patient in front of us. If anyone needs a surgeon, don't go to anyone else....go directly to Dr Boyajian!!
