Attempted to see Michael Kogan at the Elgin office for a follow-up for continued knee pain after a surgery several years ago (not related, I don't think). Apparently they have a new computer system that requires all patients to fill out multiple pages of paperwork that could have been done ahead of time (and not from a clipboard on my lap). After 40 minutes, I left before paying a co-pay when I was told the doctor was running more than an hour late. Everyone in the waiting room was complaining to one another, the office staff was bickering about the delays and computer problems and one patient told to show up an hour late next time (not sure what he meant by this) when I left. Someone should have/could have called me prior to my appointment to see if I wanted to reschedule before I showed up. I did not reschedule and will be seeing someone else for my knee pain in the future. Is overbooking routine here? I appreciate the apology and response, but I think your problems extend beyond a new software system. You should seek feedback from your current clients. I am going elsewhere.

Dr. Chakhour was super!! Very direct and on target!! Answered all my questions and appropriately directed my health care needs.

Dr. Chakour is always professional, listens and explains thoroughly. He truly is interested in taking the best care of his patients. The nurses and staff are outstanding on taking care of the patient also. I am very comfortable and never feel rushed. I feel very positive when I leave the office.
