List of Richard Park's Reviews
Not interested in patient as a WHOLE person. Clear he does not review patient history and other provider notes prior to appointment. Assembly-line mentality, detached.
As I type this, my mom is in the hospital where they are trying to get her congestive heart failure under control. If Dr. Park had actually bothered to listen, we would not be in this position now. We went to see Dr. Park numerous times with our concerns. He is dismissive and downright rude. He basically treated her like she was ridiculous. She had a swollen belly, pitted edema of ankles and feet, inability to exercise, increased weight gain and frequent urination, which are all symptoms of CHF. She also was in Afib, which should have been explored as well. He ordered not one test, not even a BNP. He stated she had an echocardiogram and repeated echocardiogram done in 2019, after her Takosubo Cardiomyopathy, and that she didn’t need another one. Well as of today, her structure is fine, but she has a very low EF, so her heart isn’t able to get rid of the fluid. I do not know what is wrong with this man. He gets paid for each office visit, yet treats you as if you are wasting his time. I’m happy to deal with poor bedside manner if the doctor is doing brilliant work, but he clearly is not and is missing things that are life and death. My mother’s quality of life could have been so much better the past year had he done even minimal testing.
I met Dr.park 17 years ago when I had to have a triple bypass-I have seen him for follow up visits -the past several years snd he was the ONLY Dr to order tests for my legs as I was having a lot of pain and difficulty walking-it was found I had blockages in both legs that had to b unblocked-and now I am 100 percent better!!I trust his diagnosis that no one else could find after a year of pain-he may not b warm and fuzzy-but that’s NOT what I look for-I had a BAD Dr-that was warm and fuzzy-but she surely should not have been a dr!! She told me that told me I had arthritis in my back but my heart was failing -at 8 percent ejection fraction-I trust him -it’s all about TRUST

DR. PARK IS AN EXCELLENT cardiologist. he SAVED MY LIFE OVER 10 YEARS AGO WHEN WHAT I THOUGHT WAS INDIGESTION ,WAS A HEART ATTACK .HE GAVE ME A LAD STENT..HE CARES,IS KIND ,AMUSING, AND A WISE DR WHO DOESN'T RUSH YOU.
Dr. Park saved my fathers life. He emergently put in 3 stents in his heart, while he was having a major heart attack. He is widely regarded as the best interventional cardiologist in the entire west suburban region. Ask any nurse at any of the local hospitals what cardiologist they would choose for their family and they will tell you it is Dr. Park. He is known to have Golden Hands in the cardiac catch lab. No one even comes close. He is also a kind and informative doctor.
Dr. Park spent a whole 15 minutes in the room with me and my wife explaining how rediculous it was for us to even be there. I was having chest pains and he dismissed us like we had no business being in his office. We were treated with no respect for our concern and he was very rude. I would NOT recommend him to anyone!
Dr. Park did multiple angioplasties on me and then recommend the BEST surgeon for my by-pass surgery. Without Dr. Park's knowledge and help, I would not have lived as long as I have.
I had an EKG, 4 working days later Dr. Park still will not give me my results.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
