Dr. Mehta is an excellent surgeon. He familiarizes himself with the patient, listens intently, offers suggestions, and makes the patient feel comfortable. He validates patient observations and concerns. His surgical expertise is amazing. The surgery performed on me was minimally invasive and neatly done. My shoulder is so much better - recovery can take awhile, but physical therapy is a must for speedy recovery. He has a great sense of humor and takes a genuine interest in his patients' lives - never displaying the glazed eyes - he is actively listening. I am sad to no longer need his services, but he made certain that I knew he was here for me. I will use him again - if the need arises. I highly recommend him as an outstanding orthopedic surgeon. Even physical therapists that are not associated with Fox Valley Orthopedics highly recommend him.

Dr. Mehta is thorough, attentive, caring, and a great surgeon. He explained my surgery in detail in advance and let me know what I should expect post-surgery. He was available to answer any question and generally got back to me within no more than a couple of hours. He has provided thoughtful post-op care, again explaining the probable because of my aches and pains. Most importantly, he has encouraged my recovery.”

Decided to get a 2nd opinion from Dr. Mehta after a fall down my stairs (tripping over the dog). Went elsewhere for almost a YEAR with no relief. Just steroid injection after steroid injection and I finally decided to get a 2nd opinion and I’m so relieved I did. Dr. Mehta ordered MRI’s immediately and once he had reviewed them, we had a follow up appointment. He was very informative and professional. He’s attentive and thorough and gave me his recommendation. He subsequently recommended a knee scope which was completed on 5/30/23, so far so good. 1st day of PT today and it went well. So glad my meniscus is FINALLY cleaned up. I highly recommend him and value his professional recommendations. THANK YOU, Dr. Mehta and STAFF for your kindness and patience. Greatly appreciated.
