This is my second pregnancy after nine years and while the doctors and nurses have been kind and professional, my overall experience has been a bit mixed. Dr. Shaw, Dr. Johnson, and Dr. Sorokin all have great bedside manners, which is reassuring, especially with this being my second pregnancy. They take the time to listen and ensure I understand everything, which I truly appreciate. However, one downside to the office is the lack of educational resources. There are no pamphlets, booklets, or guides provided to patients about pregnancy, prenatal care, or postpartum. It would be very helpful to have access to some informative materials, especially for those navigating the different trimesters or expecting their second or third child. When I asked if they had any resources like a guide or informational folder, I was told, unfortunately, no. I really think this is an area they could improve. Another area that needs attention is the phlebotomist. I had two very frustrating encounters with him. The first time, I had to wait 20 minutes after my appointment for bloodwork, while I could hear him chatting and laughing with colleagues in the other room, completely ignoring my wait. When I was finally seen, he didn’t acknowledge me at all. The second time was equally disappointing. After my appointment, I was told to wait by the door for the phlebotomist, but when I greeted him after seeing my name on the computer he rudely told me to wait in the waiting room because there were several others ahead of me. I waited 15 minutes and left after noticing it was lunchtime and he still hadn’t called me back. His lack of courtesy and professionalism is something that needs to be addressed. His bedside manner leaves much to be desired, and he should be trained in how to treat patients with respect. Overall, while I appreciate the care from the doctors, the lack of resources and the unprofessional behavior from the phlebotomist have left a negative impression. I hope the office takes these points into consideration for improvement and I pray when it’s time to deliver that I have a good experience

All doctors and nurses are great, very professional, I gave a birth there, but their receptionists are awful, they always put on hold and never pick up, it is hard to schedule appointment or ask a question. Today I tried to make appointment, but I waited 20 min on hold and not able to connect to receptionist

Dr Shaw and dr campo were amazing. There was one I never met until I went in for my schedule induction. He insisted on a cesarean section but i knew I didn’t need one since he didnt even bother to do proper induction procedures. However luckily it was dr Shaw shift and he listened to my concerns and did the procedure of inducing labor and went easy after that.

They're very kind and nice every thing was explained to me and it was fast. Dr. Johnson is a very caring Doctor!

David Shaw was the first OBGYN who made me feel completely comfortable. He explained everything very well. He put my mind at ease and was very outgoing. He’s an exceptional doctor.

Ascension Medical Group, Woman’s Health Elk Grove Village- the best of the best. I have been visiting them over a years, my doctor is Dr. Sorokin. She is the doctor who always care, has a time for the patient, kind, knowledgeable. I had my second child with her, even that was some worried moments she always were there for me and did a lot to care about me and my baby. Also met other doctors from their office, they also very kind and attentive. I am highly recommended!

Dr Munoz was very caring and professional.

Friendly staff at front desk, medical provider and assistant were all very helpful.

I was able to get an appointment in a reasonable time, and staff were professional, I just feel that I was given no options to address my concerns.
