He removed my gallbladder and gave me a prescription for Codeine 2 - which is slightly stronger than aspirin after I was told I would get Norco. My first night home, I cried because I was in pain and could not sleep. Called the next day and left a message for the doctor on call. He NEVER called back. Ended up calling my PCP. He saved me by sending in a script for a great pain reliver.

I had a perforated bowel and I had gone septic, dr Liao saved my life and I’m forever grateful for him. After my perforation I’ve had a ton of obstruction surgeries with dr Liao and every time he was amazing. He checked on me and is all around an awesome guy. Best dr in Illinois hands down.

Had minor procedure performed by Dr. Liao. He thoroughly explained the procedure and answered all of my questions. He was easy to talk to and was very professional. Very pleased with the care I received. Would definitely chose him if I ever need surgery in the future.

I'm an older guy now and see a lot more doctors than I would like... Dr. Liao was not just a good surgeon, but a good guy as well...I felt connected..... with doctors' time restraints. and emphasis on being "professional", that human connection doesnt happen much. I'm not saying we talked football, or you should either, but if you want or need a human being, and a skilled surgeon, see him.

Very helpful and caring. I was in extreme pain, he scheduled me for surgery ASAP. He even called me afterwards to see how I was doing and answered my questions. A+ for service and being a good guy!
