I saw Dr. Kovitz for three different visits to determine why I have difficulty breathing. Without consulting my lab work, xrays or several other examinations performed by Alexian Bros Hospital, Dr Kovitz stated that I needed to lose 20 pounds and everything would be fine. Save your time and money and see someone ELSE!

I had the pleasure of seeing dr. Kovitz, he was very patient with me, I ask a lot of questions, he was honest and very informative and helpful! Great doctor! Staff in office is very nice and helpful also.

Dr. Kovitz does not take responsibility for his lack of sharing test results. My Mother was misinformed about PET scan and died of cancer due to Dr. Kovitz not sharing the findings of cancer. When confronted he took no responsibility. I would NEVER TRUST DR. KOVITZ.

Dr. Kevin Kovitz was treating my Mother for suspicious spots in her lungs. After tests, and PET scans he reassured her and her family that she was ok. What Dr. Kovitz failed to say was that the scan showed a mass in her sigmoid colon. A year and a half layer Mom was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. We put our trust in this physician and now my Mother- Best Friend has passed. We saw the test results 18 months later when the oncologist asked for previous scans. Dr Kovitz took no responsibility

Dr. Kovitz was caring for my Mother due to some suspicious areas in her lungs. She maintained her 3 month visits, then 6 months. Dr. Kovitz reassured her and the family that this was nothing serious. What he NEVER told us was the results from a PET scan, 18 months after that body scan Mom was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon cancer. Dr. Kovitz NEVER told her the repot indicated a MASS IN THE SIGMOID COLON. After the diagnosis the oncologist asked for prior test reports and there it was in black and white. When I called Dr. Kovitz and confronted him, his answer was, I'M NOT THAT KIND OF A DOCTOR. I said I know, but as a medical professional isn't it YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to tell your patients test results. Dr. Kovitz reply, I GUESS I MADE A BAD CALL. YES, he did. AS MY MOTHER DIED 3 YEARS LATER DUE TO HIS LACK OF RESPONSIBILITY TO TELL HER OF THE MASS IN HER COLON. SO beware of his honesty on test results. I lost my Mother and best friend because of Dr. Kovitz.
