He is a wonderful Dr and cares about his patients, I’m waiting to schedule my surgery with him

I had been having difficulties with my digestive symptoms. My family doctor recommended Dr. Guske. When speaking to him he seemed competent. I recieved a scope and colonoscopy where there were no problems seen. My mother-in-law was in the room with me after the scope. Dr. Guske suggested I get an ultra sound for my gallbladder as symptoms corralated with this. We discussed this on the way home and would never have thought of this but it made sense. Dr. Guske stated that someone would be contacting me to arrange an ultrasound. A week goes by and symptoms are still very present continue getting sick, losing weight, not able to work but no call. I call his office and the nurses that I spoke to were so rude, stating I must have been "out of it for that conversation". Thank goodness my mother-in-law was there and can back up everything that was said. No one has called me back after multiple attempts to try to contact this doctor. There is no email. You have to go through the nurses. Shame on you, Dr. Guske who has a very high esteem of himself. Follow through....none.

Great doctor, he performed my VSG also removed a hernia l wasn't aware of..I was hoping to see him afterwards during my recovery time but I never did. ?? Overall great doctor!

i had my gastric bypass surgery in 2008 by Dr. Guske . not only is he a down to earth individual , but , he also cares about his patients . 15 years later , and i have not gained the weight back . i highly recommend Dr. Guske 100%

Dr. Guske Performed a Nissen Fundoplication, gallbladder removal and hernia repair on me a year and a half ago. I could not have asked for a smoother recovery or a better outcome. I have been able to go off of PPIs, which I had been on for 20 years and I no longer suffer on a daily basis with indigestion and heartburn. Dr. Guske is a highly skilled surgeon and this surgery has changed my life for the better ! Highly recommend!!

Horrible. Had a upper GI and colonoscopy recently , and ended up in emergency with an aggravated hernia. Tried calling dr. But he went out of town immediately after procedure. His staff were of no help, their only advise was to go to emergency. After cat scan it was determined that the hernia was “aggravated “ somehow during the procedures. The only dr. Who showed any concern for my five days of extreme discomfort was the emergency room dr who called to check on me. Never heard a word from the dr. Or his staff. I guess that I was the “last patient before vacation “

Great Doctor! He took the time to explain & reviewed the documents sent by my primary care doctor. If I have any problems, I will not hesitate to go to him again! The office staff were also very nice!
