I was seen promptly for my sciatic pain issue at Edward Elmhurst Hospital 'Center for Health'. Dr. Couri was friendly, unassuming, and above all he took just over an hour to get my history and perform a thorough examination. It's no wonder that everyone likes him. The staff was also friendly.

Absolutely FANTASTIC! He's helped me for over a decade! I have severe back pain and he's managed to keep me upright without surgery! He takes his time with you - Will answer any of your questions! Extremely friendly staff!

Dr Couri took time with me, wasn’t rushed, so he could accurately diagnose my problem. He showed me X-ray and CT scans and explained what he was seeing. He answered all my questions. He recommended a plan going forward, and involved me in making a decision. He came highly recommended to me by another of his patients and I will highly recommend him to others.

Dr Couri is one of the most caring physician I’ve ever met, he treat you with respect , he’s very intelligent, great listener, caring . I would recommend Dr Couri to everyone

Dr Brian Couri is by far one of the best doctors I have ever felt with! He is caring and concerned with any issues dealing with his patients.He will always try to whatever he can to try and help you. I have been seeing Dr. Couri for about 18 months for multi-issues with chronic pain. I initially went to him because he was recommended for radio-frequency ablation for my knee osteo-arthritis. But in addition to treating that he has also helped me through some severe lower back pain, several bouts of sciatica, and a wonky shoulder. A couple of things to know about the doctor -- the first time or two I had to wait a long time in the waiting room to see him. I think the first time is was almost an hour and a half. But I later learned why. He spends as much time with the patient as they need and he was one of the most thorough doctors I've ever seen. He really wanted to understand the history of my problems, etc. He also is frequently in surgery and now that I've gone thru a few surgical procedures with him, I can see how back-ups in the surgical center can affect his office hours. He is very serious about his work, which I appreciated. I recommend him highly.

I'm struggling to write this review because I like Dr Couri so much. He's great Smart, great guy. But the office or SOMEONE doesnt give a rip about patients or how they inconvenience their patients. I call, Ive been put on hold for over 30 minutes, someone picks up and hangs up, I called back, on hold for 20 minutes and finally give up. They dont care and they find an excuse to not do their jobs. I have established scheduled appts only to be told that 2 procedures cant be done on the same day & they need to reschedule. Unsure y patients are told conflicting info..ok that's fine, we reschedule. Someone called yesterday to confirm the appt Ive been waiting for because I direly need it. Got a voicemail just now saying that the Dr has to reschedule because he has a meeting. Patients dont matter, existing appts dont matter. Patients come last. Appt rescheduled the same day as an operation with another dr. NOBODY CARES. Staff NEEDS to b replaced. Dr needs to care about patients.

Dr. Couri was able to manage my back issues and sciatic pain successfully when others could not. He also resolved my rotor cuff problems. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Couri.

Dr. Couri is a game changer for the herniated discs in my lower back. His nurses, as well, are outstanding, understanding, and professional. Dr. Couri is extremely thorough before making a diagnosis and administering treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Couri and all the staff at the Elmhurst office.
