My last visit was for my annual physical. Dr. Giger was pleasant, thorough, and attentive, as he has always been. I like that he reviews my blood test with me and comments on areas of concern, and positive signs that he sees. Overall, I would recommend Dr. Giger to anyone seeking a practical and capable doctor that you can talk to easily.

I have been a patient of Dr. Giger's for quite a few years. He was recommended by another doctor as being very thorough. I would agree with that. He is also very friendly and easy to talk to. His staff is also amiable. He's on time and will take the time you need to complete your visit.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Giger for over the past 30 years. His care is fantastic and his bedside manner is wonderful. He has always been there for me and overall is a kind and gentle man. I would highly recommend Dr. Giger as a primary care physician.

Dr. Giger, who has been my 97 year old mother’s physician for many years, recently refused to order the physical therapy recommended upon her discharge from skilled nursing so that she could maintain the strength needed for “minimal assist” status in assisted living. According to the PT who requested the order, he refused because “she is in a wheel chair and cannot walk.” He insisted that she see an orthopedic surgeon for the authorization. Dr. Giger’s refusal to order needed therapy and his insistence that my mother see yet another doctor showed ignorance of and remarkable insensitivity to the needs and cognitive and physical capabilities of his long time patient. It is particularly troubling in the midst of the Covid-19 crisis and the attendant barriers to health care access. This is part of a pattern we have observed in recent interactions with Dr. Giger. We will no longer utilize his services, and will instead seek care from a physician more attuned to the needs of the elderly.

My Dad has been a patient of his for years and just recently had several strokes that has landed him in Rehab. When we had some concerns about his wellbeing, we called who we thought we could trust and that would care. Couldnt have been farther from the experience we received. He basically yelled at us on the phone and used a line no doctor should ever use "What do you want me to do about it?" His lack of compassion for his patient in this circumstance was apaulling to all of us. We recieved a second opinion from another doctor who took the time to help us detemine next steps and the current situation of my Dad even though he was currently not under his care at the moment which is the way we expected to be treated... With compassion and effort.
